*alexs POV*

"Alex why do you always get the hot girls?" Jack whined before letting me step into the car

"Maybe it's because I'm hot and you're not" I winked and he glared at me. We were currently having a little dispute over who got Ashley.

"Yeah well I bet you won't be able to get her to fall for you!" He blurted out, a sense of rage made its way through my veins.

"Those are fighting words Barakat! Care to put your money where your mouth is?" I joked not really wanting to bet on a girl.

"100 bucks says you can't get her to fall in love with you." Jack offered, this was going to be an easy bet to win if I agreed to it. I tossed the idea around in my head for a little bit and came to a conclusion.

"You're on Barakat." We shook on it and I climbed into the car waving goodbye as we drove off. Leaving jack in his powder blue suit behind until we got to the reception.

*Ashleys POV*

When Alex climbed into the car the first thing he did was fiddle with the radio. I eyed him curiously as we were driving along because I didn't want him to ruin my car.

He pulled a cd out of his jacket pocket and popped it into the stereo. A voice that I recognized suddenly filled my car and it clicked all of a sudden. This was Alex's band. I listened quietly for a little bit deciding that I liked his band,they weren't half bad.

"This is my favorite singer." He blurted out of nowhere

"You're a conceded shit you know that gaskarth?" I laughed turning up the volume trying to learn the lyrics.

After a little more driving we arrived at a hotel. It was green on the outside and had Grecian pillars holding up the front where the entrance was. Plants weaved it's way up the walls of the place. Many guest from the wedding were walking into the hotel.

I parked the car and went to the employee on duty to check in and get the information for where the reception was being held. I was staying the night at the hotel tonight so I needed my room key.

The lobby was filled with light and brown leather chairs were scattered Along the area. It's looked very clean and up kept, which made me very happy. The lady at the front desk had blonde hair tied up into a bun. Her black work suit for her loosely and looking at her name tag I figured her name was Anna.

"May I help you?" She asked

"Yes Ashley Black checking in please." I gave her my credit card so she can charge it and she handed me my key.

"One bedroom suite for Mrs.Black here you go!" I took the small green key and pocketed it in my clutch.

"And do you know where the wedding reception is being held?" I asked her

"Yes just down the hall first room on the left! You and your boyfriend have a good time now!" She motioned towards Alex. I was about to say that we weren't dating but I let it slide. I gave her a smile and headed down the hallway with Alex.

My heels clinked on the tile floor and soon enough I could hear the party going into full swing. Walking in Alex quickly spotted Jack at the bar and ran towards him. Deciding I better take my seat I went to my assigned table and met Susan.

"I see you've taken a liking to Alex." She pointed out, I couldn't help but blush. Just the mention of his name made me smile.

"Nooooo we have just become good friends through a series of events this week." I informed her in my most business like manner.

"Well we all know where that leads to." She said giving me a wink and taking a swing of her martini.

"I'm going to talk to Kathy" she hiccuped and walked off.

As the night went in it was filled with a lot of dancing and alcohol. The food was the delicious and the cake was absolutely gorgeous. It was three tiers and it was white. It had a ribbon going down it with flowers placed here and there. Kathy took the cake and shoved a piece of it into mikes face. The usual wedding couple with the cake. I couldn't wait till I was able to do that.

I'm pretty sure every relative to have ever known Kathy or Mike made a speech. They all regurgitated the same information, how they were so happy for them and they couldn't wait for kids and how this was a match made in heaven. The same old wedding crap.

As I sat at the table a slow song came on a someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around to Alex who was piss ass drunk.

"May I have this dance my lady" he said extending his hand and bowing, his words slurred. I took his hand and he lead me out onto the dance floor. We barely made it there due to the fact that he could barely walk straight.

As we danced I realized that I had to get him out of here. It was time to go, everyone was leaving anyway. I tried to find jack but to no use and I had no clue what any of his other band mates looked like. I didn't know where he was staying...no one was here to claim him. That left only one solution. Leave him out on the streets.

Nah man I'm joking i could only take him one place. Into my hotel room, the only safe place for him.

I had to basically carry Alex into the elevator because he could barely function. As I pressed floor number five Alex began filling the air with noise.

"You know Ashley when I first saw you I thought you were really cute. Besides the fact that you thought I was a shoe salesman you were an okay person." Alex babbled talking about every accidental encounter we had had, which was three. He also mentioned how when he was six he set his homework on fire.

Finally the elevator dinged and we exited. I walked down the long white hallways. My feet padding along the red carpet. Finding the room I unlocked the door and gently put Alex in the bed.

"I hope you don't mind but you're stuck with me tonight" I said not expecting an answer because he was already half asleep.

"I wouldn't want to be stuck with anyone else" he mumbled and soon started to snore.

The room itself was beautiful. The drapes were a deep shade of purple and hung over the windows, the bed a pristine white and the carpet clean as a whistle. The walls were painted an ivory with a few abstract art paintings hanging on the wall. The tv was a 74" flat screen and I couldn't have been happier. This hotel was awesome.

I grabbed some m & m's from the minibar and placed in a call for a wake up. I wanted to be up by ten. Knowing I would have a hangover tomorrow ten was early for me.

I thought it was to late to go get my stuff from the car and decided just to sleep in my dress. I kicked off my shoes and curled up under the covers. I sunk into the beds memory foam like it was butter. The bed cradled me and warmed me making me feel so comfortable.

I felt an arm wrap around me and warm breath on my neck. I'm guessing Alex wanted a snuggle buddy.

"Goodnight Alex" I whispered kissing him on the head. His lips puckered as if he wanted to kiss me back, instead he missed and kissed the sheet that separated us. I let out a small giggle at the sight of this man that acted like a twelve year old.

He nuzzled up to my side and I tried to escape but he just hung on tighter.

"You're not going anywhere jack" he said sleeply and I couldn't help but chuckle soon I fell asleep in the arms of Alex gaskarth.
