Same Jackass
I woke up every hour on the hour through out our driving. I'll get used to it eventually. I stepped out of my bunk and headed to the back lounge. I pulled out my suit case and started to go through it. I pulled out some black skinny jeans and a whit V-neck. I pulled the pants on over my boxers and slipped the shirt on. I walked into the front lounge where jack sat on the phone eating a bowl of cereal and playing on his phone.
He pointed the phone at me. "Smile!" He yelled. I stuck out my tongue. "Nice." He said. Then my phone went off. He tagged me in a photo on Instagram. With the caption: Finally my lover has awoken @awgaskarth
I put my phone back in my pocket and walked over grabbing a water out of the fridge. Matt came out of a bunk. "So the Article lady will stay on either our bus or Pierce's bus." "Ass long as she's hot I don't mind." Jack said. I laughed. "Maybe she doesn't want you Jack." He stood up putting his bowl up, in the sink. "Everyone wants this Alex." "Her name's Jennifer Mullhulland." "Wow, that last names a mouth full." I said.
"We should be at the venues in about 10 minutes. Pierce the Veil has been there for about an hour." "Yeah cause they had a flight not a drive." Zack said coming out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist. He went back to the back lounge. I sat down on a couch and scrolled through my phone.
On instagram I took a picture with a fan and she posted it. It was a photo of my kissing her cheek, she was beat red. All these kids were commenting the meanest things. Calling her fat, whore, slut, telling her she's worthless and doesn't deserve to even be near me. I commented telling them being mean to another fellow hustler will get you no where with me. People can be so mean, I'm so glad I got that out of my system.
"Come on, help us unload Gaskarth." Rian said hitting phone out of my hand. "Alright! Just let me put on some shoes." I walked back slipping my feet into some dark blue Vans. I grabbed my wallet and phone stuffing them into a pocket and ran off the bus to help out. I got to the trailer and pulled off a box with Vinny's help.
"Where is this going?" I asked him. "Where we're setting up merch." He replied back. We dropped off the huge box and he walked away. I checked my phone. Then I heard a voice. I looked around and didn't see anyone. So I walked towards the stage. I rounded the corner and there stood some girl standing next to Matt and Jaime, she was singing, it was beautiful. I went to walk up the steps but by the time I got up there she was gone.
Jack came running up to me. "Dude, there's the hottest chick on tour with us. It's the article lady, I don't know her name but damn she's good looking. And blonde-" "Wait Blonde? I think I just saw her singing." "Was she good?" "Yeah she was awesome." "Let's go see if we can find her." Jack said dragging me behind him.
We ran around looking for her but decided to just go back to the dressing room after a failed attempt to locate her. We entered the room and there she was sitting next to Rian and Vic. "Hey guys! Long time no see." Vic said standing up and giving both Jack and I a hug. My eyes and focus were on the girl sitting with her eyes glued to her hands. Then her phone rang, I know it was hers cause she quickly got up and left the room, brushing passed me with a shoulder bump.
Rian just looked at me. "What?" I asked. "I know you Gaskarth, I know the way looked at her." "Yeah so?" I said sitting down on the couch. "Her names not Jennifer." Zack said. "Ok well what is it?" I asked. Vic had left the room. "Please try to stay away from her." Rian asked. "Why? I don't get it? I didn't do anything to her, I don't even know her." I said. Zack just looked at me.
"Her name's Paige, Paige Colegrove." I looked at Rian then at Jack. "Wait like Prank Paige?" I asked using a nickname we had for her. "Alex come on, don't call her that." Rian said. "Ok but she moved half way through senior year. We don't even know why. And I thought that Jennifer chick was supposed to do our article." "The other girl got pregnant and couldn't come. Paige is the most respected writer in her company, let alone her field." Matt joined in.
I ran my hand through my hair leaning back against the couch. "She doesn't know me anymore, she can't just assume I'm the same jackass." I said to Rian. "would you really blame her if she never gave you a chance to prove it?" "I guess not but I'm a lot better now. And she didn't deserve the things I did to her." "She's also extremely attractive now." "So Jack? What does that have to do with anything?" I spat at Jack.
I was more angry with myself than anything. I did a terrible thing to her and I needed to apologize. Not for my benefit but hers. Jack went to say something but stopped himself when she came back in. She walked over to the fridge and pulled out a water. She sniffled a little, I knew she had been crying. She had a camera around her neck. She liked photography? And then she left the room.
"Did you see the camera around her neck?" Zack asked. "Yeah-" He stood up. "I'm gonna go see if she wants to walk around with me." He said leaving the room. I slouched down in the couch. How am I gonna fix this? I really want her to forgive me.

So I just read what you have of this, and really love it so far. I'm bummed to see it was never continued. :(
Shipping Alex and Paige in this story, even though he caused her a lot of pain. But it changed him and they just seem so cute together. It's a bit odd how Jack suddenly went after her, when it seemed like Zack was going to, so it's kind of a lot with three different possible love interests, but I love Paige's story. It's intense but I'm glad she was able to get through it, it just shows how strong she is as a character.
If you ever see yourself continuing this someday, I will be here to read. I think this story deserves an ending. <3
But if not, I just wanted to leave this comment letting you know readers are still stumbling across this and enjoying it. I think you're a really great writer, and hope you're at least still writing on your own time, as I see a lot of your stories have gone unfinished. But it happens.
