Max got surprised when she saw that Alex just dropped everything and walked off stage. She hurried down the stairs from the VIP section and backstage, and saw him enter their dressing room.
"Alex" she called and hurried after. When she entered he had thrown himself on the floor, lying on the carpet, and he looked so upset and sad again. He just stared into air.
"Come here" she said and pulled him up so he was sitting. Then she sat down between his legs and had them over his, facing him and looking into his eyes. He looked so tired and sad, and he just looked at her.
"I’m really sorry" he said.
"I know" she said and leaned her head against his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around her.
"I love you so damn much" he whispered.
"I know you do, and you know I love you too… So don’t think about what they said" she answered him.
"I just… I got so shocked when they called me that" he said.
"Don’t think about it, the only one allowed to verbally assault you is me" she said, and he chuckled. Then he heard a little beep and he picked up his phone. Jack had apparently tagged him and her in a picture on instagram. When he opened it he saw them as they sat now and they looked to the door, and there stood Jack.
"They still love each other?" Alex asked, and Jack smiled.
"Well you do" he said.
"Why would you even think anything else?" Alex asked.
"Because rumor has it that you and Max are now divorced, and Max took Tigerlily and fled back to England" Jack said and shrugged.
"What?" Max asked, really shocked.
"That’s what people are believing" he said.
"But we’re not… I would never take Tigerlily from him" Max shouted.
"Relax, think about the twins" Alex said and wrapped his arms around her again. But Max wouldn’t calm down. Alex had kissed another girl once, and she was seen as the bitch that divorced Alex, took tigerlily and fled the country. No she was not going to calm down, even if Alex asked her again. She let out a frustrated growl and Jack chuckled. Then Alex smacked his hands over her cheeks, pressed them together and forced her to look into his eyes. He was angry, and she could see that. Then he kissed her and she calmed down.
"Please calm down" he said against her lips, again.

Alex held her hand when she sat down on the chair and lifted up her legs to place them on the foot stands. He was a bit nervous since this would be the first time he would see the twins.
"I can see that you’ve lost a lot of weight Mrs Gaskarth" the doctor said.
"Yes, my morning sickness have not really been the easiest.. But lately it’s been better" she said.
"That’s good, because you are going into the second trimester" she answered. Alex nodded and felt how Max squeezed his hand when they put the cold gel over her stomach. The belly was still small, but you could see that she was pregnant. Alex took a deep breath and then the doctor explained what was what, and pointed at the two babies. He nodded from time to time and then he smiled.
"It’s really twins" he said.
"You didn’t believe me?" Max asked.
"Yes and no. I just couldn’t believe it but I guess it’s really happening" he said. She smiled and looked at him.
"But it is… It’s really happening" Max said.
"But you are going to need to eat much more now, you have to eat for three people" the doctor said.
"Oh you don’t have to worry about that. If I know about Alex he’s probably going to force feed me while I sleep" Max laughed.
"You sure know me" Alex chuckled and looked at her.
"And you can’t be alone, since you have twins and are so underweight right now there is a big chance you will faint" she continued. Alex smile faded and he stared at the doctor, and then at Max.
"Max I’m not leaving you alone" he said.
"Alex, you have a job and I have Ed. Let Ed do his work" she said.
"We’re going on a tour here in the States for two months, why don’t you come with us? Ed can come as well, so you don’t have to be with us all the time" he said.
"I am not bringing Tigerlily on a tourbus with you guys" she said and stared at him.
"Crap, I forgot about her" Alex sighed.
"But Ed, I and Tigerlily can come with you guys. Bringing Trevor as well" she said. Alex looked at her.
"How?" he asked.
"Trevor got himself a big bus as well, for camping. It will be perfect for slow nights and so on" Max shrugged.
"Let’s talk to Trevor then" Alex said and smiled.

Trevor freaked out and decided to clean the whole bus, three times and Ed smiled when he hurried over to pack things.
"Trevor love, it’s still a few days before we go" he said. Trevor looked at him and smiled. Max smiled as well because it didn’t matter how different Ed and Trevor was. Ed, the tall tattooed man with stretched ears and a muscular body. Then Trevor, the thin and short guy with blond hair, thick hipster glasses and a big interest for fashion. Total opposites, yet they loved each other.
"I’ve talked to the guys as well and they understand that I want you with me, and they think it’s good that you’re on another bus. Since they want me to concentrate on being on tour, and not on you" Alex said and smiled.
"Completely understandable" Max said and smiled.
"But at least I get to have you near" Alex said and looked at her.
