Wedding?

Alex was finally home and Tigerlily was now over 6 months old. It was no longer cold outside, but still chilly enough so you couldn’t walk around without a scarf. But there was only one thing on Max mind right now. A wedding. Their wedding was just a month away and she had no dress at all. NO DRESS.
"hat are you freaking out about?" Alex asked when she saw her panicked face as she ran around in their bedroom. She stopped and looked at him and he smiled.
"We are getting married in about a month and I have no dress" she said.
"Then go and get one, it can’t be that hard" Alex laughed and pulled her in for a hug.
"That’s it Alex, it is hard because… well" she hesitated. He looked at her and waited for her to say it. Didn’t she want to get married?
"Are you having second thoughts?" he asked, trying to hide he was a bit hurt. She freaked out again.
"God no, it’s not that" she said and he sighed in relief.
"Then what is it? That you’re not a virgin on the wedding night?" he teased.
"Alex please stop teasing… I was wondering… Do you mind if I don’t get married in a white dress?" she asked and looked at him. He stared at her for a second and then he laughed.
"For goodness sake Max, of course I don’t mind. It doesn’t matter that I would like to see a white dress, but honestly I can’t take you for a person that would get married in one… So I wasn’t expecting that" he laughed and kissed her. She relaxed and sighed in relief.
"Good, because then I already know what dress I’m going to have" she said.

Alex, Ed and Jack was playing with Tigerlily when Cassadee came over.
"Cass?" Alex asked, a bit surprised.
"Hi guys" she said and smiled.
"What are you doing here?" Alex asked.
"Max and I are going out to get that dress of hers, and then we’re having a girls day" she said and smiled. Alex looked at Max as she walked down, in his blue flannel and tight skinny jeans. She smiled and he gave her a small smile. He couldn’t wait for the day she would walk down the aisle and he could actually call her his.

Tigerlily was playing with Jack’s hair, and Jack was laughing.
"So how does it feel?" Ed asked and looked at Alex.
"feel?" Alex asked, a bit confused.
"You’re getting married, to Max" Ed laughed.
"Oh you meant that" Alex said and then he smiled. He went into his own thoughts and smiled, and both Jack and Ed looked at him.
"You’re really happy, aren’t’ you?" Jack asked.
"Of course I am" Alex said and looked at Jack.
"Good, because I’m glad to see that you’re happy. You deserve it" he said and smiled.

A few hours later Cassadee and Max came back, and Max hair was shining, her skin was glowing and she showed perfectly manicured nails. Alex laughed and kissed her hon her cheek. He liked to see her happy. And that such a small thing like getting her nails done was making her happy just made him laugh, but at least she smiled.

Alex looked at Max as she lied in bed and smiled for herself.
"I was thinking… Have you thought about the vows?" he asked. She looked at him and then she nodded.
"I have actually, but I’m not going to tell you" she smiled.
"Not yet at least" he teased, and Max laughed.
"Not yet" she said.
"Is it a long vow, or a short one?" he asked.
"I guess it’s shorter than a traditional, but honestly I’m going to go mostly after what you say" she said.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"I guess you are going to begin with your vow, and I will make my vow after what you say. Pretty much" she said and looked at him.
"so make the vows at place, in the moment?" he asked. She nodded.
"Not completely, I still have a few things I would like to say but yeah, pretty much I will say it in the moment" she laughed.
"You keep amaze me" he said and crawled up on top of her. He hovered over her and looked at her face. She smiled and softly kissed him. He chuckled and kissed her back, before he laid himself down on her and leaned his head against her chest.
"You’re heavy" she whined and laughed.
"No I’m not" he said ad nuzzled in his face between her breasts. She laughed again and wrapped her arms around his head, causing him to laugh as well.
