He stared into air and couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
Their fans had attacked Max. Max was in the hospital.
Alex had not been there to protect her. Even Ed had failed to protect her.
Slowly he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. And remembered about Tigerlily. His heart started to race. His breath stopped and every last little oxygen cell left his lungs.
"What about Tigerlily?" Alex whispered and stared at the white wall across the room. Jack had stopped his video game and stared at Alex.
"WHAT ABOUT TIGERLILY?" Alex growled and felt himself tear up. Ed wasn’t answering, and it scared Alex.
"She’s okay. They’re both okay" Ed said.
"Why the fuck didn’t you say that from the start?" Alex said and sighed in relief, feeling the tears fall over and down his cheeks. He felt so relieved.
"What is going on?" Jack asked, a bit nervous.
"What happened?" Alex said and rubbed his eyes.
"Some fanns came up to us when we were eating lunch, and they asked if she was Max. Max answered yes and they started to scream and call her a fucking slut, whore and all kinds of stuff. They thought she was cheating on you with me, and that she now was pregnant with my kid. The stress and panic that Max got caused her muscles around her uterus to make a small contraction, but the baby… Tigerlily… she’s okay, and Max is now resting in her bed" Ed explained.
"I guess I have to tell them… can you say to Max that I will go out with it when she wakes up?" Alex said.
"Yeah, I will do that" Ed said.

Alex opened up up instagram and picked a photo where he was standing behind her, leaning his chin against her shoulder and holding his hands on her baby bump . Max had taken it the day before they went on the Europe tour and she was jsut standing in shorts and a crop shirt. Alex himself looked so happy and had the biggest grin on his lips.

Since some of our fans earlier today decided to verbally assault Max, accusing her of cheating and expecting another mans baby; I’ve decided to break the silence. Max and I are expecting a kid. She’s four months pregnant and today she was caused so much stress that she was forced to go to a hospital. I love her more than anything so I would be glad if you didn’t try to hurt her. Hurting her is hurting me you know. And for the cheating… She’s not cheating on me with a tall, tattooed man with dark hair and dark eyes. That is her bodyguard and best friend Ed. Since I can’t be there to protect her all the time. I love her, she loves me and we are expecting. So please don’t harm her anymore when I can’t be there for her.

The picture was posted and Alex took a deep breath. He felt so relaxed now that he knew that Max was okay, and that he finally got the new out to the fans. It had been worrying him that they didn’t knew. Since you never knew how they would react if they saw that she was pregnant. And just look what happened today. He got comment after comment that it came as a surprise, and that Max was way to big to be 4 months pregnant. Alex shook his head. He knew she was big but she was normal big for 4 months.

Max rubbed her belly and sighed.
"We’re okay. You’re okay…" she said and closed her eyes. She had woken up from a nightmare and Ed looked at her from the couch.
"You okay?" he asked.
"Just a nightmare" Max said.
"I talked to Alex, he was a bit worried and he told me to tell you something" he said.
"Tell me what?" she asked.
"He told the fans, and the picture he picked for instagram… That’s a cute one" he said and smiled. Max stared at Ed and then she picked up her phone and in to instagram. It was the picture she knew he would pick and there was tons, and tons, of comments. Then a doctor came in to the room and he looked at the chart.
"Ms Clayton, I’m am sorry to inform you that you might have to stay for a couple of more nights before we can let you go" he said and looked at Max.
"What? Why?" Ed asked.
"The stress caused to you today caused some stress on the baby as well. The heart rhythm was irregular and we wanna keep you over night to see if it goes away" he said.
"oh… okay" Max said and got nervous. He then walked out again and Ed stared at her.
"You have to tell Alex" he said.
"I know" she sighed.

She took a picture of her hospital wristband and posted it on instagram.

Apparently they want me to stay a few more days.

And then she picked up the phone and called Alex. He answered almost immediately and he sounded worried.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Tigerlily apparently had an irregular heartbeat after all the stress today, so they are keeping me over night" she said.
"Is that serious?" he asked, and she could hear how nervous he was.
"Not that I know, but it could be. But I’m feeling fine and I know that it won’t be anything" she said.
"Call me tomorrow and tell me if anything changes, okay?" he asked.
"I promise, and tell the guys I said hey" she said and smiled a little.
"I will, please get well and… I love you" he whispered.

"And I love you" she answered.
