And Tell Me You Love Me

Steal A Kiss In The Dark

-Alex's Point of View-

I didn't know what to think. I didn't know what to do. After I had saw May stark naked in front of me this morning, all the memories of when Jack was gone had flooded back into my head. God, if I could only count how many times I had imagined her like that and now that I had saw it, it just felt so damn wrong.

I loved Jack. I really did. I don't think that there could be anything else in the world that could change that, but when I looked at May, it was a whole different story.

May was the one girl that I would go totally straight for. She was as beautiful as Aphrodite, as powerful as Superman, and as sweet as a grandmother to her grandchildren. She was literally everything and she was the one thing that made me question my love for Jack.

That afternoon Jack had went to go get things for the apartment, May stayed at home to unpack, and I had went to go see my parents for a little bit. Everything was perfectly fine and I enjoyed seeing my parents, but I had this little nagging thought in my head about last night and this morning.

I didn't let my thoughts show in front of my parents, just so that no questions were asked, but my mom did keep giving me a certain look. She could tell when there something on my mind. It was a motherly instinct, I suppose, but I knew that when she got the chance, she was going to be asking me every single little thing that was on her mind.

I left their house earlier than expected with a bottle of red wine that my parents had given us to celebrate the new home. When I arrived back at the apartment, Jack wasn't home yet and May was sitting on the couch, a notebook in her arms.

"Hey, Alex," she said, not looking up from her pen and paper.

"Afternoon, May," I muttered, not really glancing at her. Everything was still a little awkward since this morning, but I knew that the two of us would probably get over it soon enough. I mean, the main reason why it was so damn awkward was because I had a boner and her standing there naked in front of me didn't make it any better.

Her eyes met mine for a second and I could see something in them that was telling me that she was in pain. Quickly, her gaze fell and I took a seat beside her, watching her carefully and studying her every move and she glided the pen across the notebook paper.

"Are you alright?" I asked her softly and she stared at me for a moment.

"Yes, why do you ask?" She said softly. I could tell that she was lying by the look in her brown eyes. There was something on her mind and I had the feeling deep in my gut that it had something to deal with me.

"May, I can tell something's wrong. You were acting strange yesterday when Jack and I asked if you wanted to come with me to my parent's house. I know something is going on in your mind. Please, tell me," I said softly and she stared at me slightly shocked.

"It doesn't matter, Alex," she said softly, her gaze losing mine at an instant. I grabbed her chin and I made her look at me. Her eyes were searching mine for something, anything. Curiosity struck my heart like a dagger and I began to wonder what she was hiding.

"May, tell me," I whispered and she leaned forward and pushed her lips against mine. Shock filled my mind, but I didn't care. I kissed her back, thoughts of Jack being pushed to the back of my brain. May was my main focus right now. She was the one that my heart desired.

She pulled away and looked me in the eyes. No words were spoken between the two of us. The air was filled with silence as the kiss still lingered in both of our minds.

"I-I shouldn't of done that," she whispered, her eyes falling away from mine once again. I didn't know what to say, what to do. My mind was flying around in circles as the thoughts of Jack began to scream once again telling me that I had just made the biggest mistake of my life. Problem is, I really don't care.

"Don't say that, May," I whispered, running my fingers down her cheek and she glanced back up at me again. I leaned down and our lips met once again.

Why am I doing this?

~~~
Late that evening, most of the bottle of wine was gone, Jack and May were bickering over little things, and my mind was flying around in a small haze. My glass was still half full and I lifted the drink of bitter liquid to my lips before taking a drink of it.
I laid back in my chair and shut my eyes before letting out a soft sigh. The world grew silent around me and everything just seemed to have gone motionless. The two bickering siblings had grown silent and the world was surrounded by quiet.
I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder and I opened up my eyes to see May staring down at me with a smile spreading across her face.
"What are you thinking about, Lex?" Her voice holding a bit of seduction in it as I stared up at her. I glanced around the garden only to see me and her standing there. The moon was shining high in the sky and she leaned down, showing a bit of her cleavage.
I didn't answer her question, but instead, I just stared at her. I didn't really know what to say. I was curious to where Jack had disappeared to and I was also wondering why May seemed in a really flirtatious mood. She usually wasn't like this at all...
"Cat got your tongue?" She purred at me, before straddling me in the chair. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I put mine around her waist. She kissed my cheek gently before whispering softly in my ear, "I know what you want, Lex."
My face flushed a little bit and she laughed before kissing my neck gently. She gently nipped at the flesh and a gasp escaped from my lips as she giggled once again. Her eyes found mine, a bright smile spread across her lips and she whispered, "I love you, Lex."
"And I love you..." I whispered feeling my world grow dark before a finished my sentence.
~~~

"Alex, are you alright?" Jack asked, shaking me gently. I sat up in the chair quickly staring at his brown eyes and trying to figure out what exactly was going on. It took me a moment to realize that I had just dreamed everything about May and I.

"I-I-I'm fine," I stuttered, trying to get my mind back into reality.

"You sure? I mean, you fell asleep," May asked, worry filling her identical brown eyes.

"Yeah, it's just been a long day," I sighed, standing up and grabbing my cup before turning to head towards the inside of the apartment.

"Alex?" Jack said before I got through the door and I turned around and looked at him.

"What?" I asked.

"What were you dreaming about? You kept saying May's name," he said and that's when my heart fell through my chest.

Notes

I don't know where this was going and half of it is probably predictable, but I'm stirring stuff up and I'm sure a few of you would probably jump me if you knew where I lived.
