I walked two blocks until I saw a park. I walked towards the swings where I saw a figure. I knew who it was. How could I not know who he was? I sat on the swing beside him and looked up at the sky. “I’m sorry I was a dick.” He said. He stood up and held his hand out for me to take. I took it and we walked to the ice cream shop. After ordering I dug in my pocket to get money out and when I went to hand the person money Alex slapped my hand away. “My treat. For the bad things I said and did to you.” He said. “Thank you.” I said as I watched him hand the person twenty bucks. “You want to chill in here for a bit or just walk around?” He asked. I shrugged,” I don’t care.” Alex walked over to the table and sat down. It was quiet. “So did Danny ask you if you wanted to go on tour with us this summer?” Alex asked. “Yeah, but I said no. I’m taking summer classes for college. “ I said. Alex looked at me. “He said you were going.” He said. “He obviously lied about it. I can’t just tour with you guys whenever. I have to find something for me. I have to do something for. I have to get a job. I can’t live with my brother forever.” I said. “But you hardly ever go with us anymore.” He said. “I wonder why, Alex.” I said. “Why?” He said. “Do you not remember the last time I went on tour with you guys?” I asked. “You met Jack’s girlfriend.” He said. “Bitch, she was my best friend before they started dating. So whatever.” I said. He laughed. “So you really aren’t going on tour with us?” He asked. “I don’t think so. Not unless something comes up.” I said. He frowned. “It won’t be the same without you there.” He said. I rolled my eyes, “Whatever, Alex. I’d be six feet under the ground.” I said. “Well I’m sorry but I won’t let that happen again. I’ll be around you all the time and if a fan seemed to want to attack you, I’ll pull her away.” He said. I looked down at my empty cup. “I’m done. Are you done?” I asked. Why does he want me to go on tour with them? “Sure. You want to head back?” He asked. “Yeah, I’m really tired.” I said. We stood up and started walking to my house. I went straight to my room once we got home. I heard knocking but I didn’t bother asking who it was. “I’m sleeping. Go away.” I said. “I guess you don’t want to see me then.” Kennedy said. I jumped out of my bed and tackled him into a hug as I screamed,” Kennedy.” I was so happy to see him.
