Tour is finally over. Alex and I were in our taxi to get home from the airport. I'm now 28 weeks along and there is no hiding how pregnant I am now. I'm a whole seven months along, and in two months Alex and I will meet our little girl. I was so excited and happy to be in my thrid trimester, the home stretch.

"It feels so good to be home again," I sighed happily as I leaned my head onto Alex's shoulder as I rubbed my still growing belly.

"Yeah," Alex agreed, "This break will be so nice. We can get the house ready for Isabelle and I can be home with my girls and my dogs."

"We'll have to paint the nursery before we have the baby shower," I told him, "I want the paint dried before we build her furniture and get everything ready for when we bring her home."

"I already have that covered," Alex smirked, "Jack, Zack, and Matt are picking up the carpet and paint I picked out for Isabelle's room. They'll be coming over to get started on fixing up the room we pick for her,"

Alex and I finally get to the house and he pays the cabbie befoer getting our luggage out of the back. I got the door for him and we found Alex's parents waiting for us with the dogs. Isobel let go of Sebastian and Peyton and they came running towards us. Baz jumped up on Alex and he caught him to hold him in his arms. I reached down to pet Peyton on his head so he didn't feel left out.

"Oh my goodness," Isobel gushed when she say me and taking in how far I was, "You look fantastic Courtney. I can't wait to meet my granddaughter."

"I can't wait to meet her either, Isobel," I replied as she hugged me as best as she could.
After we got unpacked from tour and I got our laundry started, Matt, Jack, and Zack finally came over with the carpet and paint for Isabelle's room. Alex and I had picked the room down the hall from us, the last room on the left. This would give us a buffer zone so Isabelle wouldn't get woken up by us.

"So what colors is our daughter's nursery going to be," I asked Alex as he led the guys upstairs and I took up the rear.

"I picked a light pastel purple with light grey carpet," Alex replied, "The carpet is super soft and thick, perfect to cushion our little girl when she learns to crawl and walk."

"You are so cute about getting ready to be a daddy," I smiled as we arrived to Isabelle's room.

"Yeah Alex, you have changed a lot," Matt smirked, "I like it. It's nice to not be the only responsible one now."

"No kidding," Zack agreed, "I like this new Alex. It's nice to see him getting his life in order and being so happy with the best girl he's been with."

"I can't wait to be Uncle Jack," Jack squealed, not letting himself get left out, "I will spoil that little girl."
Alex's mom opted to host our baby shower for us. She even got my parents out to join us too. I was excited to see what we were getting for our daughter. Alex and I have been restraining ourselves from buying everything for our daughter.

"I want to thank everyone for coming to help us celebrate that in two months we'll be adding a new Gaskarth to the family," Isobel greeted everyone once they were all seated.

Once everyone ate, Alex and I got into our seats by our covered gift table. I was so excited to open everything. I was amazing that seven months ago I was scared of how everything was going to play out. Now here I am, bursting with excitement to see what gifts we got to help us raise our daughter when she arrives in two months.

Gift by gift, Alex and I got everything we needed for Isabelle. We got loads of cute outfits for Isabelle while she's a newborn, diapers, diaper bags for Alex and I when we take her out with us, creams, lotions, baby powder, binkies, bottles, a baby monitor, a pack-and-play, a play mat, towels, wash cloths, a baby tub, rattles, and a cute little pastel purple teddy bear. We also got a white crib, crib bedding that matched her nursery, a stroller, a car seat, and a high chair. I was happy to get burping towels and gifts of money and books. Isobel and Peter teamed up with my parents and got us a rocking chair, a homemade blanket, a dresser, and a bookshelf for Isabelle's room.
"There all done," Alex smiled as he dusted off his hands after he finished assembling all of Isabelle's furniture.

"It looks wonderful, Alex," I gushed as I brought in a basket full of Isabelle's clean clothes to pack them into her dresser.

"Before long, it'll get even better," Alex smiled as he joined me in folding our daughter's clothes, "Soon we'll have our daughter home with us, sleeping in her crib or our arms."

"I can't wait to get out of me," I sighed as I sat down in the rocking chair, "I miss my feet and I'm tired of her making my back so sore."

"But we get loads of sleep right now," Alex commented, "Once she's home, she'll be keeping us awake all night long."
