Fifteen

Tour's been flying fast. Courtney's now thirteen weeks along, she's swapped from her old clothes to the new maternity clothes we'd bought for her before we left for tour. She's also started to take it easy while she worked with Vinny.

But holy shitt I'll be a dad in five more months. I never thought I'd get a family so soon in my life, but I was so damn excited for this. I've been spending my late nights researching everything that comes with a baby. I even planned out two different nurseries, one for a boy and one for a girl. I already planned on naming my son after my brother, Tom. For a girl, I had no idea on what to name my future princess. I was going to count on Courtney to come up with a name for our little girl, or at least help me out so we can do it together.

I even looked into the best things I could do to help make all of this easier on her. I gave her massages every time Courtney needed one. I sang her to sleep at night so the baby could learn my voice. I asked Matt to help me out and get anything Courtney was craving so she and the baby would be happy. I even asked the guys to cut down on the parties so Courtney and I could get as much rest as we could.

"I can't wait to figure out if we're having a boy or a girl," Courtney gushed as we lounged in our bunk. She had her shirt pulled up and she was rubbing her belly softly, a soft smile on her face. God she was beautiful, even more now than ever because of the new life growing inside her.

"I think we'll have a girl," I smiled and joined her on rubbing her belly, "I just have a feeling she's a little princess."

"If we have a girl I was thinking on naming her after our mothers," Courtney sighed happily, "I like the name Isabelle. It's a different way to spell your mother's name. Then her middle name can be Marie, like my mom's."

"Isabelle Marie Gaskarth," I said before leaning down to kiss Courtney's belly, "I like the sound of that name. It's beautiful for our beautiful future little girl."

"But if we have a boy we need a name for him," Courtney spoke up as I pulled up from her stomach.

"I was thinking to name him after my brother," I told her as I looked at my tattoo, "Either have Thomas for his first name or his middle name would work for me."

"I like the name Thomas Alexander for our future son," Courtney replied, "That way our little boy is named after his uncle and father."

"I like the way you think, babe," I replied, "So when do we get to find out the gender of the baby?"

"When I'm around eighteen weeks would be the best time to get me in for the sonogram," she replied.

"In five more weeks," I said to her belly, "We'll figure out if you're an Isabelle or a Thomas. I am way too excited to meet you in five more months. I love you so much already."
Finally Courtney is eighteen weeks along and we're going into a clinic today. We got to come in on a day off from tour, and today was going to be an off-day well spent. I was so excited to see how the baby is doing, hearing its heartbeat, and figuring out if the baby is a boy or a girl.

"Alex, relax," Courtney chuckled as I bounced my leg in the waiting room. She was leaned back in her seat with her left hand resting on her much more noticeable bump while her right hand was on my left leg, trying to stop my bouncing leg.

"I can't help it, babe," I replied, "I'm just super excited to find out if Tom or Isabelle is coming in a few months."

"I know," she smiled and grabbed hold of my left hand, "Just please calm down."

Soon Courtney and I were called back and the nurse ran the basic checks on Courtney to make sure she was in good health, which she was. Soon the doctor came and we got right into it.

"Alright let's find that baby," the doctor said as she fired up the ultrasound machine, "Would you like to hear the heartbeat?"

"Please," Courtney and I replied at the same time. The doctor turned on the heart monitor on the machine. Soon the murmurs of the baby's heart filled the room and I watched as Courtney's eyes lit up with her smile. I'm sure I was smiling just like her, the joy of hearing my child's heartbeat for the first time made me so proud. I made a life with Courtney and I can hear the signs that we'll be having a baby.

"Do you want to know the gender of the baby," she asked us as she turned the screen for us to see the baby.

"Please," I told her.

"Alright," the doctor moved the wand around on Courtney's bump until she got the right angle to see the baby perfectly, "Congrats, you guys are going to have a little princess."

The doctor printed up a couple copies of the sonogram of little Isabelle. I held onto my copy of my little girl's first picture as I took Courtney out of the office and out to our taxi back to the bus. I was so excited to tell the guys that we'll be having a daughter.

Little Isabelle is going to be loved by the All Time Low family and both mine and Courtney's families before she's even born. I know that Isabelle is going to be spoiled by me and the guys along with her grandparents. I know Courtney and I will smother her with love while she's a tiny little baby. I can't to meet her, I want to her close to my heart as soon as possible.
