Jack and Alex have been going out for about 2 years, now Jack has something up his sleeve. What better way to do it on top of a mountain at the Hollywood sign along with a fireworks.

Jack pulled up at the top of the hill, pulling the keys out of the ignition and stepping out the car. I followed suit as I closed the door, gazing across the entire view of Hollywood. We’d decided to take a drive up to the Hollywood sign since we had some time off from touring. The city lights flickered and blinked down in the city, a smile spreading across my face.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” Jack questioned, appearing beside me.

“It really is” I replied.

Jack grinned, his fingers lingering beside mine before I laced my fingers through his.

“Come on” he issued, pulling me along beside him.

We climbed down a few rocks, Jack helping me down some parts, he was such a gentleman. I walked up the small metal steps before sitting down, my legs dangling from the edge. I noticed we were sitting in between the O and the L and I started chuckling.

“What are you snickering about Lex?” Jack asked with curiosity.

“We’re sitting between the O and L and the H is before the O so it’s like it’s saying HO” I laughed.

“Immature” Jack scoffed, sitting beside me.

“Am not!” I whined with a pout.

Jack smiled as he wrapped his arm around me tightly and pulled me closer, resting his free hand on mine. I hummed as I rested my head on his shoulder and looked out at the city.

“I love you Alex” Jack whispered.

My heart fluttered at his words. This is the first time he’s told me this, I didn’t expect it so soon. But, it felt so right.

“I love you too Jack” I mused.

I felt his hand slip under my jaw as he tilted my head up and I found myself gazing into his eyes.

“May I?” he questioned, quickly looking at my lips before looking back.

“You don’t need to ask” I whispered.

Jack smirked, brushing his lips across mine and then connecting them together in a romantic kiss. My heart soared as I rested my hands on his waist and he pulled me closer. We pulled away for air and I rested my forehead against his, brushing my nose with his in a playful manner.

“Alex, look up at the sky” Jack purred.

I turned my head as I gazed up at the sky, seeing all the stars.

“What am I looking at?” I questioned.

Jack didn’t reply as I suddenly heard a bang and saw something shooting up into the sky. Fireworks? The sky lit up in a mix of red, green, blue and purple and I smiled widely as Jack held me tightly.

“This is amazing!” I yelled.

“Just keep watching” Jack replied.

I turned back to the display as a final firework shot up, disappearing for a moment before exploding loudly. I gasped as I saw a message form in the sky, something I was not expecting.

“Alex Gaskarth, will you marry me?” I read out.

“Will you?” Jack questioned.

I shot my gaze to him as I looked down in his hand and saw a silver band with a black heart in the centre, sitting perfectly in a red velvet box.

“Oh my god...Jack” I whimpered, tears streaming down my face as I clasped my hands over my mouth.

“Is that a yes?” he chuckled.

“Yes you big idiot! Of course I will!” I screamed, jumping on him as he fell back.

Jack and I burst out laughing before I lent down and kissed him passionately, my hands resting on his cheeks. He hummed in satisfaction before I pulled away and gazed into his glassy eyes.

“You make me so happy” I whispered.

“As do you” Jack whispered back, grabbing my hand and slipping the silver ring on my finger. “Forever and always” he mused with a smile.

“Forever and always” I replied, sealing the deal with a kiss.
