I rolled over and held one hand to my head. "Ugghh, Milk was a bad choice!" I said to myself, laughing at my reference. Alex stirred a little and I stopped moving. He was still asleep and I rolled out of bed, slowly making my way to the bathroom. I looked at my face. It had make up running from my right eye. I laughed at the great sex hair I was sporting.

I reached for a towel and started the water. I pulled off Alex's shirt I had slipped on last night and stepped in. The water was super hot, and I loved it. I reached for the shampoo and conditioner Alex had. I finished washing my hair and shut off the water. Stepping out of the shower Alex came into the bathroom. "Morning." I said to him. "Morning." He said back.

I laughed, he really wasn't a morning person. "Your phone keeps going off." He said. I stepped past him and ran into his room. I jumped across the bed and lunged for my phone before it went off.

Me: Hello.
Sam: Hey, bout time you answered. You're still good to take the kids for a couple days right?
Me: Yeah, of coarse.
Sam: Ok, well I'm gonna drop them off at your place in about an hour.
Me: Alright sounds good, see you then.

I hung up and jumped up looking around for my clothes. I found my bra but not my underwear. Alex walked out of the bathroom. "Woah, where's the fire?" He asked leaning against the door frame with his tooth brush in his mouth. "I forgot I had to do something today and I don't wanna be late." "I thought we were just gonna hang out here all day?" He asked.

"Like I said I forgot and " I stood up, and looked at him. "You gotta get dressed, you gotta drop me off at Jack's to get my car." I started looking for my underwear again. "Aggghhh! Have you seen my underwear?" I asked getting a little upset. "Down stairs by the couch, that's where our fun started remember?" He said walking into his closet.

I found my shirt and pulled it on. I ran down the steps and found my panties, and shorts. I quickly slipped them on. "Come on Alex!" I yelled grabbing his keys off the counter. "I'm coming! Take a chill pill woman!" He came down the steps. I ran out to his car, unlocking the door. I slid into the passenger seat and started the car. Alex came out behind me and got into the driver seat.

Alex pulled out of his drive way. I turned around looking for my shoes. I found them slipping my feet into the shoe. "So what's happening that's so important?" Alex asked. "Well, My cousin has a trip to go with her husband and I'm supposed to watch her kids." "For how long?" "A week." "How many kids?" "Two. Skylar is the oldest, 4 and Jillian is 6 weeks old." "Wow, and she trusts you enough to just leave you with her 6 week old?"

"Yeah, she's on formula anyways, that and I have raised several kids through out my years thank you." He pulled into Jack's drive way. I ran up to the door. I knocked. "Hello." A messy haired Jack said answering the door. "Hey, I left my keys on your counter." I pointed and walked past him. "You can stay and hangout if you want." "I would but I can't I'm taking care of my cousin's kids and she'll be at my house in "

I looked down at my phone. "25 minutes. And I promised Sky I would take her to the Zoo and-" "The zoo?! I wanna go!" Jack said jumping up and down. "I guess you can come if you want." He ran over grabbing his shoes and landed on the floor stuffing his feet into them. He slipped on a beanie and held the door. "After you." He said as I left his house. He and I walked out to my car.

"Where you going with Barakat?" Alex asked. "We're gonna go to the Zoo!" Jack said throwing his arms up. "No fair-" "Just get in the car! I can't leave her waiting!" I yelled. Alex grabbed his keys and jogged over to my car. Jack sat in the front seat, I saw the annoyance clear on Alex's face. I was too much in a rush to care at this point. I started my car quick and gunned it down the road.

Alex and Jack were silent, I'm sure they were just shocked by my driving. I'm a safe driver but I drive fast, and I get serious road rage. It only took 15 minutes to get to my house. I pulled into the drive way and parked. I jumped out and ran up to the front door. I unlocked it and walked in, I kicked off my shoes and threw my keys into the bowl on the coffee table.

I sprinted up my spiral stair case and that's when I heard my front door shut. "Just make your selves comfortable!" I shouted from upstairs. Alex has never been in my house before, he's only even been in my drive way twice. We hang out or at his house. I don't like bringing people over. I ran in pulling off my clothes and throwing them in the dirty hamper. I rummaged through my dresser searching for something to wear.

I pulled out a stripped halter top and some shorts. I grabbed a strapless bra and some underwear. I changed my clothes and went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I finished and headed back down stairs. I rounded the corner and bumped into Jack. "Dude, your house is amazing." Jack said. I continued into the kitchen. "Thanks, I liked it." I said going over to the fridge.

"I have water, Capri-sun, beer, apple juice and milk... I really doubt you want the milk though." I said. "I'll take a Capri-sun." Jack said taking a spot, leaning against my breakfast bar. Alex walked in after him and did the same. "Water, Please." He said. I pulled out two waters and a Carpi-Sun for Jack. I handed them to the two of them. "Wanna go on a tour?" I asked. "Sure." Jack said.

"Well, through that door is my garage and through those double doors is my dinning room." I walked out of my kitchen and towards my living room. "Here is the living room where I play games and watch movies." I walked towards my stairs and headed up them, both boys following behind me.

"And through this door is the guest room." We stepped into a nice size room with a queen size bed, a tall boy, with love seat under the window on the far side of the room. "Holy cow! This is a guest room?" "Yep, It has it's own bathroom and a walk in closet." Jack was impressed. "This is the smallest room, there's three rooms in the house." "How big is the other guest room?" Jack asked.

"Slightly smaller than the master. It's got a king bed in it, and a full couch. Other than that it's pretty much the same." I said walking out of the room. I headed down the hall to my room. I opened the door. "Ok this is my room." I stepped in. My walls are dark grey with mint green feather dusting along the back wall. My furniture is done in a dark purple. I had two dressers, A tall one and a short long one. I had a California king size bed.

I grabbed their hands and pulled the two of them into my bathroom. It had double sinks, and a two person tub. The shower had a jet thingy head, all I knew was that it was an amazing shower. The bathroom was done in a pale yellow with black and an off white color. "Mother of God... Your bathroom is bigger than my living room." Jack said.

I laughed but it was short lived. I really wanted to know what had Alex so flustered, he hadn't spoken hardly a word since we got out of his car earlier. I was just about to ask when I heard my front door close and tiny foot steps run up my stairs. I passed both Jack and Alex and ran into my bed room. Skylar came around the corner and I dropped to my knees pulling her into a hug. "God I missed you!" I said squeezing her.

"Sorry Paigey-poo. I've been helping mommy with Jillian." "You have?! I bet you're the best big sister!" "Yeah, just like you." It was a sweet comment but I didn't like to be reminded of that. I let go of Sky and she ran out of my room and into the guest room. I stood up and Jack and Alex came around the corner. "Paigey-poo?!" Jack asked. "She was very little when she came up with it." He laughed.

I poked his stomach. "Shut up!" He tried to deflect it but missed. I huffed and walked out of my room and down my steps. I heard Sky coming down. "Sky remember go slow." I warned. "I am going slow! That's not me." She said. Then Jack came down, smiling crazily at me. "Slow down Jack." I warned with a laugh.

I saw Sam walk in with Jillian. "Awwe! Look it's my little Lasagna Rainbow!" I said pulling the baby out of her arms. "Yeah, nice to see you too." Sam said. I laughed and pulled her into a hug. "Hey." I said. She gave a hug back. "Are we going to the Zoo today?" Sky asked. "Why yes we are." I said letting go of Sam, she's 5 years older than me. "Oh right. "This is Skylar, Sam and Jillian." I said to Alex and Jack standing awkwardly.

"Nice to meet you." Sam said. Alex stepped up to her shaking her hand. "I'm Alex." "I'm Jack." He said taking her hand. "Wait, is this one you've been talking about?" Sam asked. I started to blush a little. "Yes, that would be Alex the one I've been hanging out with." Alex got a really big smile on his face. "What happened to that guy named V-" I covered her mouth. "Let me help you get shit out of your car." I said pulling her out of the house with me.

I grabbed some stuff out of her car various things for Lasagna and Sky. We walked back in the house. "Alright, I got to get to the airport. " "I'll see you when you get back." I said giving her a hug bye. "Where's Skylar?" She asked. "I'm up here! I'm playing with Lexy and Jackaroo!" She yelled. I laughed at their nicknames. I opened the door for Sam. I brought the baby inside and headed up stairs.

I walked into the kids room down the hall. "You didn't say there was a kids room?!" Jack said to me. I sat down on the floor against the wall. "I forgot about it." I said readjusting Lasagna. "We're playing legos. Lexy is building a house for all the people of Halloween town to live in." "Is that so." I said. "Yeah, Jackaroo and I are building flying things for them." "Awesome." I stood up.

"We should probably get going soon though." I said going to pack Lasagna a diaper bag. I was in the guest room. "Can I ask you a question?" Alex asked walking in. "Shoot." I said. "I didn't know you took care of kids? Or that you had a sibling? Or even that your house looked like this from the inside?" He said coming up next to me staring at Lasagna.

"It never came up and I actually designed this house but I mean it's whatever." I said finishing up changing her. I picked up Lasagna and handed her to Alex helping him support her. He was not prepared. "Paige, I never held a baby before, what if I hurt her?" He asked all panicky. It was adorable his face of concern just staring at her. "Just hold her and you'll be fine."

His smiled grew as Lasagna just stared at him. "Ok why do you call her Lasagna? I noticed that earlier." "Well." I started packing up a baby bag. "When she was still 'Baking' Early on, Sam and Greg could not come up with a name, so I dubbed her Lasagna Rainbow." I leaned closer. "Don't tell anyone but I hate the name Jillian." I backed away. "If I was gonna have a girl, I would name her Imagen with Nicole as the middle name. If it was a boy, It would be Sebastien with William or Neil as the middle name."

I finished the diaper bag. "Here, pass her over. You can't walk down these steps with a baby." He passed her over in a heart beat. "Yeah, do you want kids?" "Yeah. I'd rather be married first is the problem." I said leaving the room and walking down the steps. "Sky, Jack! Let's go!" Alex was right behind me. Sky came down first. "Can we play Panic in the car?" She asked plopping down on the ground putting her feet in her shoes.

"Yeah, other foot." I said with a giggle. She laid back on the floor. "I'm just too little! I can't do anything!" She said dramatically. I laughed. Alex got down on my knee and helped her put then one even tying them. "Thank you." She said standing up. "Jack! Stop with the legos! Let's go." I heard him run down the hall. "Ok." Was all he said. We walked out of the house. We headed towards my car. "To the Zoo!" Sky yelled.

I laughed. "I'm gonna see Flamingos, Zebras, and Giraffes." Sky said opening her door. Sam put the seats in already. I buckled Sky and Lasagna in and got in my seat, Alex sat up front and Jack sat in the back, per Sky's request. I started to pull away, I slipped in Vices and Virtues and Sky started to sing along with me and the CD. I missed this kid so much, I want kids so bad eventually. But as of right now I got a 4 year old and a 6 week old so, The zoos gonna be awesome.
