Chapter Two : There is no one else
-Rian's p.o.v.-
My eyes own filtered open ,and my vision was met with the twilight sky. I tried to sit up but my head hurt massively. I managed to sit up in a full upright position. I turned my head around to look for everyone else. Jack sat courting his arm which looked to be bleeding . Alex sat next to him rubbing his back. And Zack and our manager was nowhere to be found .
"Alex ,are you and jack alright?"I ask .
"Y-yea jack just hurt his arm and I hurt my stomach ,but we are fine for the most part,"Alex's voice shook as he spoke .
I just wanted to go and comfort both of them ,because they seemed so shaken . I stood up and made my way over to them being aware of our surroundings to try to find our manager and Zack.
" Zack left to look for help. He thought you were dead Rian," Alex said softly.
I felt myself gasp a little . How could Zack think I was dead. I shook my head and sighed.
"We need to stay here and wait for them to come back ," Jack said speaking up for once,"I mean it's not like we can go anywhere anyways ."
"Guys what if that dude shows up?" I asked.
"Dude ,Rianthere is no guy okay. Drop it please before we freak ourselves out more than we need to be.," Alex firmly stated glaring at me.
I shook my head ,"I don't know about you but we can't just sit here like ducks !"
Jack glared at me before he looked down . I didn't mean to freak them out . I really didn't .
-third person p.o.v. -
The creature lurked in the shadows that the setting sun was casting. It watch the three men arguing near the crashed bus. The creature felt its mouth pull up into a wicked crooked grin. The creature was going to have fun with These three . As long as they followed according to his plan . He would have a set of new pawns to play with . He let out an animalistic growl before hobbling away towards the abyss of the desert .
- Rian Dawson's p.o.v-
I spun around when I heard a low growl . I looked back to jack and Alex who seemed to have not heard the monstrous noise. I gulped and sat beside them.
"Please can we go look for help ourselves. Please. What if there are animals ?"I said softly .
Alex sighed and jack Groaned like they pitted me or something.
"Okay fine we can go look for help " Alex sighed again.
They both stood and we began to walk in the direction we came . Hopefully we would pass a car ,or a gas station.
It had nearly been an hour of us walking before Jack cried out in surprise .
"Guys ! look! An amusement park !" Jack jumped up and down as he pointed towards the faint outline of what could be distinguished as an amusement park.
I shook off a sudden feeling of dread that overcame me. I had just been watching too many scary movies .
-time laps enough time for them to have reached the amusement park-
We appeared at the gates of the behemoth amusement park. Jack was so excited to just be here . Alex was just going along with everything ,and I was creeped out big time. ThIs felt so wrong but I didn't speak or voice my opinions . I mean it was my idea to even come here in the first place. We walked thought the gates at towards a ticket booth that seemed to be empty. As we got closer to the booth I saw a decomposing doll that looked dry rotted in a few places. A sign hung in front of the doll said ," will be back later ,"
I sighed and ran my hands over my head,"guys no ones here we should leave "
My feelings of unease were growing and I could have swore that I had saw something skid by further into the amusement park.
"No way!! " Jack said as he grabbed mine and Alex's hand before we took off down into the belly of the park.
We came to a carousel first and I sat down to rest . Jack tugged on Alex's shirt before pointing at some cheesy ride. Alex laughed and shook his head no and Jack sprites ahead Any ways before he turned on the ride some how and hoped on .
I laughed and Alex explained to me about how he was off to look for some form of life. I sighed not wanting him to leave but I nodded. I walked towards a ski ball booth near Jack's ride for I could keep an eye on him. He waved as the ride zipped around to face me . I laughed and waved back feeling like a proud parent watching their child grow up.
I smiled more ,before I felt fear creep over my spine . I felt as if I was being watched. I faced forward not wanting to spook anything and lose a chance of seeing what was looking at me. I heard the soft crunch of foot prints behind me. My heart increased by twenty beats and I went to take off into a sprint before a hand cupped my shoulder and spun me around.
I came face to face with an out of breath Zack. I brought down the fist I didn't even know I had raised to hug him tightly before pushing him and punching him in the arm .
"Never leave like that again," I growled slightly .
I was pissed at Zack and I wanted to punch him ,but I was also relieved that nothing had happened to him. He smiled at me before he lent over to catch his breath.
" oh god. I saw you guys come in here ,but I was too far away to call out to you guys so I ran back," Zack gasped for breath.
I nodded my head and went to turn to yell at jack that Zack was back but when the ride zipped around again Jack wasn't on there . I looked towards the ride in wonderment .
" Jack is gone !" I said when reality really set in.
Jack followed my gaze and frowned ,"he just probably took off to another ride while we were talking," Zack said logically .
I nodded my head agreeing with him. I put it off as Jack's immaturity taking over him,and making him run away. Shook my head and walked towards the ride to shut it off. I mean no one is here ,but I can have the common curtesy to turn off the ride. I turned off the ride and went to go back to talk to Zack ,but he was gone. I groaned out loud and started to walk around the amusement park. I was just getting ready to come upon the haunted house roller coaster and I saw a flash of spiky black hair duck in. Jack! I ran in after him and went down the tunnel farther in and farther in. I jumped at the random things that still popped out. I saw Jack ahead sitting down.
"Jack!!! " I called out as I ran towards him.
I bent down in front of him. His eyes were closed and I shook him slightly to wake him up. He probably came in here to take a nap. I pulled back my hands which were sticky with something . Blood was smeared across my hand. I looked at him in disbelief he he couldn't be dead no I just saw him come in here . I looked up and noticed a thin line on his neck.
"Jack!!! No you can't be dead ! No wake up. Stop playing with me man " I screamed.
I heard a low growl and I turned to see a disfigured person walking towards me. Two pairs of sinking in droopy eye balls met mine and I stood and darted to the end . My breathing increased as I ran faster and faster. I hurried that created shuffling behind me ,but I didn't dare look back. I ran past the marry go round and I saw Alex ,and Zack with the same red slit on their throat .i felt hysterical and I ran out of the gates . I took off towards the bus but before I got there I felt myself tripping and flying through the air. I smacked on the ground and I felt myself black out.
- time laps 20 minutes before Midnight-
~third person p.o.v.~
The police all swarmed the scene of the murders of ATL. only one member had survived. They pulled Jack out on a stretcher . He was to be air lifted to the nearest hospital. His jugular was with in two inches of being slit. He was the lucky one. The other two members Alex and Zack were both pronounced dead from a slit jugular vein. Then the last member Rian Dawson was laying in a ditch 50 yards from the bus.
The police pulled the body back up and over his head.
"It's a shame . .. The poor boy was flung from the crash and died on impact ... It's sad . He had the rest of his life ahead of him. "The police member walked away shaking his head.
