Five.
Alex POV:
After we had packed all the stuff we would need, we were finally ready for the weekend. I hadn't been on a camping trip for years so I was pretty excited. Everyone was coming, except for Zack, he'd cancelled at the last minute. It would be great to see Noah again, he always had been a good friend to me. But when Ashley moved away, we lost contact as well. He was 5 years younger so we didn't really saw each other at school. I just knew him as Ashley's neighbor actually. But that didn't change the fact he was a really nice guy and good friend.
I did miss one person, though. It wouldn't be as much fun as when Jack would be around, too. I hadn't heard from him since it all happened and that was strange. Jack would always come to me when something was wrong, and I would always try to help him. I knew he was the one who'd hurt Emily and not the other way around but.. I just knew that he was suffering, too. Emily was special to him and so I don't understand why he cheated on her, but I knew he was regretting it now.
"Aleeeeex! Noah is here, we're complete!" Ashley shouted from downstairs. I took my backpack and made my way to the living room where everyone sat, waiting for me. "Noah! Good to see you again, man!" I smiled and gave him a hug. He was very tall, last time I'd seen him he was like 7 or something. "Yeah, it's been quite a while." he grinned and I nodded. "Let's go." I said and grabbed my car keys, we would drive with two cars. Ashley, Emily and Noah in my car and Rian and Cassadee would drive with their car.
It wasn't a long drive, we got there around 6 in the evening. We unloaded the trunks and set up our tents. I slept in one with Ashley, Rian and Cassadee slept together and Noah and Emily slept both in their own tent ofcourse. After we’d done all that, Noah made a bonfire and Rian helped him. I’d brought marshmellows and Noah had brought crisps. Rian and Cassadee were in charge of drinks. We sat around the fire and talked about.. you know.. stuff. Ashley handed me another beer and she took one for herself, too. Emily wasn’t talking a lot, she just sat there between Noah and Rian. So I wasn’t surprised when she announced she was going to sleep at only 10 pm. Ashley was worried about her, I could see that. “Don’t worry, love. It takes time to get over a break-up. You can’t do anything for her right now, so just try to have fun.” She smiled a bit and I kissed her lips.
Noah went to bed around 11:30 and so it was just Rian, Cassadee, Ash and me. I was happy to see that Ashley and Cassadee were such good friends, once they’d started they wouldn’t stop chattering. Especially not when they’d had some beers. “It’s 3am, maybe we should go to bed.” I suggested. Ashley nodded and we said goodnight to Rian and Cassadee.
“Stop staring like that.” Ashley giggled when she changed into her pajamas. “But you look so beautiful. And I enjoy looking at beautiful people.” I half-smiled at her. “You’re making me blush.” She said and put her arms around my neck, playing with my hair. I leaned in closer and kissed her soft, warm lips. She opened her mouth only a second later and my tongue found hers. She took my shirt off and rested her hands on my chest. I took off her shirt as well and her bra followed immediately after. She took off my pants and boxer and I kissed her neck. She moaned when I took one nipple in my mouth and I looked up, smiling. Then we both started to get sloppy and we moaned one last time before I rolled off of her. We were both breathing heavily and she turned her head to look at me. “That was great.” She sighed. I kissed her deeply and felt her smile against my lips. “I love you, Ashley.” I whispered. “I love you too, Lex.” she said softly and then we fell asleep.
