Halloween Writing Contest! {BACK-UP ENTRY OPEN!}
I Know You're Sick of Waiting..
I'm also sad to announce another contestant has dropped out due to personal issues. Without sounding rude, because I'm honestly not intending to, I take my contests seriously. It was asked of all of you NOT to claim a slot until you were going to commit to it, come hell or high water.
I'm not angry at anyone who has dropped out and I do understand that sometimes life gets in the way. But to have so many contestants drop out of a 10 person contest over the span of two weeks is mind blowing. I plan on hosting more contests on this site and for future reference you will under-go an application period to make sure you'll actually remain in the contest until it's over. You know, if you join them.
Please, no one take this rant to heart. It's not personal. I just had a very specific outline for this and other members of the site were denied a space because it was already claimed. The slots filled up so quickly that no one bothered to return to be a back-up. Because of this, the contest is on the verge of being ruined.
So a special thanks to those of you that have stuck this out. You have no idea how much it means to me! <3
