Halloween Writing Contest! {BACK-UP ENTRY OPEN!}

Back-Up Contestant Entry Period!

I hate sounding stern or rude, honestly, I do. No matter what I post in regards to the contest, it is never my intention to make any of you worry about your slot being taken from you. However, there have been some complications with a few of our contestants. As kindly as I can, I will warn each of you multiple times before I remove you from the contest. Pulling someone hurts me just as much as it hurts them, but that doesn't mean I can give anyone special treatment. You are all equals in this contest. As your host, it is my job to make sure everyone stays involved and up to date with everything going on.

Because of the recent conflict, I will be opening a Back-Up Contestant Entry Period. First come, first serve. To those of you who request to be a back-up, please do not get your hopes up. There is no guarantee that you will be given a slot. I'd like to think that, unless someone pulls themselves from the contest, it won't even be necessary to bring someone else in. But as we all know, sometimes things don't work out as planned.

The entry will stay open for the remainder of the contest.

For those of you who do have a slot in the contest, I'm probably getting on your nerves with the updates, but I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT POST YOUR STORIES BEFORE THE POSTING DATE. Follow all of the rules. Stay involved. I love you guys and I thank you so much for being just as excited about this contest as I am. Please keep up your hard work and blow me away with your amazing writing skills.
