No Surprise
I walked through Rian’s front door and shouted ‘Hey Ri, you really shouldn’t leave the front door unlocked’ I walked into the kitchen to find Rian getting some food he looked up at me with a confused look of his face he wasn’t looking at me but at Sarah ‘Oh uh Rian, this is Sarah, she’s um she’s Irish’ I put enfaces on Irish hoping he would know what I meant
‘Oh hey Sarah, how’s it going’ I let out a breath of relief thank god he picked up on that.
‘Um where’s Jack’ I asked hopeful, I missed him and I just want to see him, I looked back at Sarah who was looking around her she looked at me and smiled ‘Downstairs’ I walked over to the stairs that lead to the basement Sarah following me, ' JACKY , you better be clothed coz ive got a surprize for ya ' I yelled down and I started walking down I heard Sarah take a deep breath as soon as I was in the basement I saw Jack looking at me and Sarah . I bounced over to him and gave him a hug ‘Jack member when we were kids and that girl who came to live with my family for 4 months we used to steal her teddy bear and hide it in my closet until my mom would give out to use and tell use to grow up.’ I looked at him he smiled and nodded
‘Ye her name was Sarah I could never forget her I remember her being the only girl not afraid to hit us we thought her how to play guitar well you did I just watched’ I smiled I knew he would remember that, when we found out that the war in Ireland started again we had talked about the last time about how we wanted to know how Sarah was, I got knocked out of my thinking by Sarah pushing me forward I looked at her and I realised I had been walking backwards and that I was practically on top of her
‘Ok well Jack 2 months ago my parents got asked to take in another kid because we had Sarah 10 years ago so they said yes and well she arrived today, Um Sarah help me out’ I looked at Sarah she just laughed
‘Basically what he is trying to say is MISS ME JACKY’ she was so happy and the growing smile on Jack’s face so was he
‘OH MY GOD SARAH’ he ran over and wrapped his arms around her and spun her around, I saw her wince in pain at the tightness of the hug he put her down
‘Hey you ok’ I asked she was holding her chest where her lung would be Jack looked just as concerned
‘Um, yeah just getting over a very old injury that’s all’ she said
‘How old’ the look on her face had me worried we looked behind us to see Rian and another guy around the same age as Sarah standing there Rian was looking at the guy with a shut the fuck up look
‘2 months but of course you already knew that did you, Evan’ she knew this guy so he was another kid from Ireland I looked at this kid and saw him smirking wait 2 months what injury takes 2 months to heal
‘What happened to you’ I asked
‘I ugh I was shot’ she looked down at the ground I stood there with my mouth wide open as did Jack and Rian we didn’t know what to say

Zach arrived a few minutes later and after a explanation as to who the girl was outside and the guy was inside we had our band meeting during it the guy Evan excused himself and went upstairs afterwards Zack was leaving and left Jack Rian and I on the couch we heard him scream my name we ran upstairs and out the front door where I saw Sarah holding this guy Evan by the collar of his t-shirt up against a wall with her right hand balled into a fist right as I called out her name her fist collided with his jaw.
