The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

Dear friend,
Okay, so I don’t have a lot of time to write because my advanced English teacher assigned us a book to read, and I like to read books twice. If you haven’t read it, I think you should. It is a very interesting book. We are only supposed to read a few chapters at a time, but I do not read books like that. I am halfway through my first time.
Anyway, I’m writing to you because a memorial for my brother was made at school. My mother cried, and my dad put his arms around her and he cried too. I cried too. I miss him terribly, which is weird but understandable. We never really talked much when he was here. I guess we’ll never get the chance.
On this day, something else, very terrible happened. Two planes flew into the Twin Towers in New York. A lot of people are dead and are still stuck in the rubble. I am very worried for everyone, so I can't write anymore at the moment.
Love always,
Alex
