“That will be $56.95 please come again.” Alex handed the money over to the cashier at the local store, he had decided on honeycomb ice cream, popcorn, chocolates and a whole heap of break-up music to listen to through the ‘slumber party’ Alex had suggested. Alex also grabbed the entire home alone movies as well as a couple of family movies to watch with Jasey and Jack. Most of the movies he grabbed were comedies and sappy romantic stuff, all to make this slumber party the best it will ever be.
“Thank you. Did you give me a discount? I was expecting this to cost much more.” Alex smiled at the teen in front of him. She was a short fifteen year old that had the longest brown hair Alex had ever seen, it stop just below her but, not that Alex was looking there it was just amazing how long her hair fell. She had crystal blue eyes and tanned skin. Her name badge read Isabella.
Isabella blushed a little and nodded. “Alex, I know who you are, I am a big fan. Believe it or not, you saved my life multiple times and who wouldn’t give Alex Gaskarth lead singer of All Time Low a discount?”
Alex smiled at Isabella, he walked behind the counter and gave her a big hug, “Thanks for telling me I saved your life. Whatever led you to even consider that isn’t worth the pain it has caused you. I have a question.” Alex rubbed his hands together as he seriously considered this. “Would you like to be my babysitter? As you have probably heard I have a daughter and I know I just met you but I think it will be a good idea, plus you get to meet the rest of the band, but before I will trust you with her alone I will have you over and get to know you better.”
Isabella was shocked; she just met her idol and might get to meet the others that saved her. “Y-yes.” Isabella stuttered as she accepted Alex’s offer.
Alex smiled, “Awesome, here is my number, call me when you have some free time and we will organize a day for you to come over and meet my Jasey, then when I am touring and if I can’t bring her with me and when I go on dates with Jack you can babysit.” Alex handed her a piece of paper then took his bags and left to go back to his house.
“Jack, daddy is home now!” Jasey ran back to Alex’s room where Jack had comfortably built a fort.
“Okay, get into position. Remember as soon as Alex walks in, we unleash our weapon, okay?” Jack hid himself in one corner of the room while Jasey sat on Alex’s bed pretending to cry.
“Daddy! Daddy, I-I m-m-m-miss mummy!” Jasey cried at the top of her lungs.
Almost as soon as Alex heard Jasey calling him he dropped everything he held and ran up to the room he heard Jasey crying from. As he walked in he heard Jack call now and next thing he knew, he was laying down face first on his bed with jack sitting on top of him spraying silly string all over mean while Jasey was sitting in front of Alex laughing so hard she almost wet her pants. “Jack get your fat ass off of me! And don’t forget I will get the two of you back, my evil munchkins.” Alex shouted. He felt the weight of his boyfriend come off of him and flipped himself over. “Jasey come here.”
Jasey got up and stopped laughing. She walked over to Alex and hugged him. “Daddy, did you get ice cream and chocolates?” Jasey questioned Alex as he inspected her face.
“Yup.” Alex popped the ‘p’. Alex picked up Jasey and placed her on his hip as he kissed Jack. “Also I think I found you a babysitter Jack, she seems very responsible. And she is a fan, but she knows you, me and Rian are off limits.” Alex poked his tongue out at Jack as he spoke.
Jack walked over to Alex and leaned into his face. Just as Alex assumed he was going to kiss him, Jack took the opportunity to flick his nose and run like a mad man. “Haha, Alex I believe it is you in need of a babysitter.” Jack screamed from halfway down the hall already.
In the living room Alex was seated dead center on the lounge with a now sleeping Jasey sitting, well slumping, on his lap whilst his new boyfriend and best friend Jack with his head rested on Jasey’s lap. Suddenly Jasey awoke, slapping Jack in the face. Instantly she started laughing, it turned out Jack decided then it would be the perfect moment to attempt to see if he could fit her entire hand in his mouth. Alex to was now laughing as Jack sat up holding his cheek pretending to cry. “What was that for?”
Jasey smiled, and wiped her hand on his face. “Trying to eat my hand you silly Billy!” Jasey laughed as she hugged her dad.
Suddenly a yawn escaped her lips. Alex stood up picking up his sleepy daughter as he did so. “Well wasn’t that a big yawn for such a small girl.” Alex held Jasey close. “Maybe we should put you to bed my baby.”
“Okay.” Jasey half yawned. “Nighty night Jacky.” Jasey waved good night to Jack as he gave the five year old a kiss to her forehead.
“Night Jay.” Jack waved back to her. Jack walked back to the lounge he has earlier watched an endless mountain of movies with the people who he hoped would spend the rest of his life with. He lay his head down on one of the arm rests and started to daydream his future with Alex and Jasey. He imagined the day she would come home with her first boyfriend. He planned now that the second the unfortunate bastard entered the house he would corrupt him as much as humanly possible, Just to watch the poor boy writhe in discomfort until the asshole was used to his unusual methods. He pictured the day him and Alex would marry, if that day was ever too come, would Alex want to get married? If not what would ever become of them when the day came that Jack decided to ask for his hand, he had it all planned, he would even ask Alex’s father permission first, but then there was the off chance that Alex would ask him first.
Just as Jack had started imagining a glorious white wedding with a giant and generous white cake, the taste of rainbows and fabulousness in the center, Alex walked into the room. “Hey, faggot come here.” Alex held his hand out to Jack and smiled as Jack raised himself of the lounge and walked to Alex to hold his hand. “I want to take you somewhere special. But first you have to put this blindfold on.”
Alex placed the blindfold over Jack’s eyes. Alex then grabbed Jack’s hands and led him upstairs to what he had waited all night for. Alex helped Jack get on to his roof, he quickly walked around making sure everything was in place and then removed Jack’s blindfold. “Oh my god Alex it is so beautiful.” Jack looked around the roof. Alex ad laid out a red and black plaid blanket for the two to sit on, he then set down a picnic basket dead center over the blanket. Jack looked around the blanket and also noticed Alex had set up and lit candles of various heights all the way around the roof and all over the places were fresh red rose petals.
“So you like it?” Alex fidgeted with his hands as he searched Jack’s face for any signs of hate or disappointment.
Jack looked back at Alex as if he were crazy. “No you idiot, I love it!” Jack kissed Alex ten sat down on the left side of the picnic. “Well, are you coming?” Jack patted the spot next to him as he spoke.
“Of course.” Alex gladly sat beside his boyfriend. He then brought the basket to himself and started emptying its contents. Jack watched Alex empty the basket and each time he pulled something out Jack licked his lips. Alex pulled out chocolates, ice cream, pancakes, and waffles, strawberries, whipped cream and finally champagne. Alex poured two glasses of champagne and handed one to Jack. “Delicious comfort food for my delicious boyfriend.” Alex picked up a strawberry and fed it to Jack.
After Jack finished chewing the strawberry he kissed Alex. “What’s all this for?”
Jack started to eat the whole bar of chocolate not caring that it was all the chocolate that Alex had brought. “Well, Jasey is asleep now so I thought we could talk about Danni and you can get her out of your mind for good. I figured I would make it romantic while doing so.” Alex intertwined their fingers as he spoke.
Jack looked at the picnic and his and Alex’s hand. “Okay, but first I wanna lie down and hug my thoughtful boyfriend.” Jack laid down dragging Alex with him. Still holding Alex’s and Jack looked up at the night sky above him. For once it was a clear night, the stars were all shining brightly and beautifully, each star was brighter than the previous one, their patterns in the sky just bringing true beauty to the night and making the picnic that much more special, Jack truly felt special in this moment then looked at Alex. Jack started to hug Alex, as he got closer, Alex opened his arms welcoming and lovingly. Finally when Jack was all comfy he had his head on Alex’s chest and their legs were tangled together. The entire time they both felt electricity flow through the two of them. “Alex I hate her, she said all those mean things and then aimed it not only at me but at you and Jasey. I feel sorry for Jasey. I mean she grew up with Danni like a second mother to the girl and then Jasey as to ear the woman other than her own mother say she hates her. What an inconsiderate little bitch. And she had to say this all after Sunday passed away and Jasey had to leave her and come here. I know Jasey seems to be taking it well but deep down I think she would feel that way you did when Tom passed away in is sleep.” Jack had tears in his eyes as he spoke. He cleared his throat before he spoke once more. “She blamed Sunday leaving for our breaking up, she blamed you getting her pregnant for Sunday’s leaving you and apparently that broke our relationship.” Jack closed his eyes as he remembered everything. “I called her a slut. I told her that I stopped loving her months ago and I have never broken up with her. I said to her that she ended things with me all the time and came begging for my forgiveness after her newly ex fucked of and she needed someone new to fuck. I told her about the times you, Zack and Rian told me you all saw her cheating on me but I chose to stay. I am sick of her.” Jack was in tears now. “Alex she told me to kill myself.”
Alex hugged his hurt boyfriend tightly. “Jack se is just hurting. I pray she didn’t mean any of that but Jack you broke up with her for a guy. I can’t blame her for having a spaz attack I would if you broke up with me for a girl. Give her a while and hopefully she will calm down.” After Alex spoke he stayed quiet and hugged a crying Jack. Just as Jack was drifting off to sleep Jasey had screamed. In a scramble Alex had managed to untangle himself and Jack in seconds he was in the house. He ran straight to Jasey’s room and saw the little girl huddled up at the end of her bed crying, searching frantically for Alex. Alex ran to the bed and picked up Jasey. “Hey, hey Daddy’s here what’s wrong?” Alex asked worriedly as he hugged his distraught daughter.
“I-I-I had th-th-th-the n-n-n-n-nightmare again.” Alex was confused. He was about to ask but Jasey started speaking before he had the chance. “I was in my room at Mummy’s house when her ex-boyfriend busted through my door. He chased me around the house until he caught up to me. He then picked me up and started to punch me and kick me over and over again. Then when mummy came out and saw him hurting me, he turned on mummy and grabbed a knife and hurt her over and over, and then she fell to the ground. He realized what he did and ran away. He left mummy to die but then she got er phone out and called the hospital. After we got there she went to heaven. Daddy it felt so real.” Jasey cried on Alex’s shoulder as she relived the dream. “Daddy, I used to have that dream before mummy went to heaven, and some of it actually happened. He hurt me once, I fell over and broke a glass then he knocked me over and kicked me. Mummy saw and kicked him out, we haven’t seen him since.” Jasey cried harder at the memory and gripped Alex’s already wet shirt. “Daddy I miss mummy so much.”
Alex squeezed the heartbroken girl and whispered in her ear lovingly. “I know baby, I know. How about you come with me and we will go sleep in my bed all night then in the morning we will go do something. It is almost the end of summer so let us not waste it.” Alex smiled as Jasey nodded her head. He then stood and walked over to where Jack stood watching. “Go to bed Jack, we have a big day planned tomorrow.” Jack nodded ten kissed Alex and left to go to bed.
Sighing Alex laid out the small 5 year old on is unmade bed. He pulled up the blankets and changed into sweatpants. Slowly and quietly Alex made is way around the other side of the bed picking up is phone as he did so he climbed under the sheets and sent a text to Jack. He then turned over and hugged the fragile body beside him. Minutes later Alex felt the bed dip a little ten two warm arms wrap around is waste. Smiling to himself, Alex closed his eyes and whispered loud enough for Jack to hear. “Goodnight, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite.” This was mostly aimed at Jasey however.
Jasey made her way downstairs towards the kitchen. She woke up this morning in Alex’s bed with Jack’s arms around her. Alex was nowhere to be found. As she rounded the corner into the massive kitchen Jasey noticed pancakes and French toast on the table. Alex was still cooking and as Jasey neared him she could smell bacon and eggs. “Daddy, you really didn’t have to make this much did you?”
Jasey rubbed er eyes and smiled at Alex as he turned around. “Actually I do. The rest of the band and crew are coming over today. We have a meeting today so if it takes too long we might not be able to do too much afterwards but I know it is about tour so let us see what will happen. Go choose your seat then wake up sleeping beauty.” Alex kissed Jasey’s forehead then resumed cooking.
Instead of choosing a seat to sit at for breakfast, Jasey ran upstairs to the room that Jack decided to claim the second Jasey left. As Jasey entered the room, she noticed Jack was still asleep however he had claimed the entire bed to himself and any time Jasey tried to get into the bed to wake him up se would be pushed off. Finally deciding on a single strategy that she knew would definitely work, Jasey ran beside Jack’s head and screamed as loud as she could. Instantly Jack woke up and jumped out of bed but as he did so his foot got caught in the sheets and face planted right at Jasey’s small feet. Just as Jack it the floor Alex ran upstairs to see what had happened. Jasey started laughing as hard as she could but just as Alex was about to speak Jasey spoke up. “Daddy I-I-I tried t-t-t-to wake up J-Jacky but he d-d-didn’t so I screamed and th-th-then he face planted.” Jasey spoke while trying to hold back laughs.
Alex rolled his eyes then kissed Jack. “Good morning sleeping beauty.”
Jack smiled then smelt the air. “Alex I think something is burning.” Jack laughed as Alex swore then ran out of the room. “Hey Alex don’t fucking swear in front of your daughter!” Jack laughed then picked up Jasey and ran downstairs to see the big breakfast feast and his family for the first time since Jasey entered their lives.
As Jack arrived in the kitchen the smell of pancakes, French toast, bacon, eggs and waffles wafted to his nose. Instantly making his stomach growl and mouth water. Alex turned around at the sound of Jack’s stomach and smirked. “Looks like someone is hungry. Too bad you decided to be a smartass and tell me not to swear in front of my daughter. So now you have to deal without any food but you got to sit with us. Oh and we need to tell everyone today that Jalex is real. I invited everyone, including your family, mine, Zack’s and Rian’s. So enjoy watching us all eat this deliciousness.”
Jack death glared Alex ten hugged Jasey tighter. “Guess someone isn’t getting is daughter back. Imma kidnap her bitch.” Jack smirked then turned around and ran with a squealing Jasey.
Close behind was a smiling Alex running after the two. The entire time laughing every time that Jack almost tripped and Jasey’s face each time. “Jack you fat fuck give me my daughter and you will get your fucking share but in moderation. Don’t want my boyfriend getting all fat on me.” Alex yelled out just as Jack stopped running. And Alex ran right into him.

Hey Guys, sorry I haven't updated in the past two weeks but I had a two week holiday in Melbourne and didn't have any internet. Then we drove back home to Sydney and I was too tired to update so here is one chapter, I will keep writing and may be able to update at least once more today. Anyway enjoy.
