(Alex's POV)
*2 weeks after the battle w/ Emerald*
I heard the faint sound of a beeping monitor and I realized I was in the hospital.My eyes shot open and were blinded by the bright lights in the room.
"J-Jack?" I called out since I saw no one around.
"I'm right here man." He said and I soon felt his hand on my shoulder.
It was cold and his face looked like he hasn't slept in weeks.
"How long was I out?" I asked him sitting up slightly.
"Um two weeks?" He said looking at the calendar.
"Shit man." I said grabbing a glass of water that was on the side table.
"Where's everyone??" I asked him making his features turn into pure sadness.
I let out a sigh and bowed my head.
"How many of us are left?" I asked changing the question.
"J-just us and Cass and Liv." He replied quietly.
"Where is she? Is she ok?" I asked trying to stand up but being pulled back down by Jack.
"The nurse said she had a slim chance of making it because she is still in a coma as of right now." He said quietly once again.
"Take me to see her..." I said but Jack didn't move.
"NOW!" I shouted as a tear fell from my eye.
With that Jack grabbed a wheelchair and pushed me down the hallway to see her.Her body so fragile looking.
"Oh god why Liv?" I quietly asked her as if she would just wake up and respond.
I stayed with her just holding her hand as if we were married and have grown old together.
(Cassadee's POV)
"Well how are they?" I asked Jack as he finished speaking with the doctor.
"Well as for Lex he doesn't look to good.If Liv doesn't wake up soon she is gonna have to pull the plug." Jack responded his voice cracking from the pain he was feeling.
I let a tear roll down my cheek before nodding and going into the room where Liv and Lex were.Alex hasn't left her side since he woke up which would be about 1 month and a half.
"Lex I have an idea." I said to him whispering my idea in his ear.
He grinned at me and nodded.
"Do it..."
(Jack's POV)
I came back from getting some coffee and walked to Olivia's room only to hear laughter from the other side.I opened the door to see Olivia was awake and she was sitting with Alex on the bed cuddling like she wasn't ever in a coma.
"Wha- how???" I asked running over to her and hugging her.
She smiled and hugged me back.
"Thats our little secret." Olivia responded joining pinkies with Cassadee.
"Wow well are you ok to go home??" I asked her and she nodded.
"Yeah just Cass needs to help me get dressed and I'll be fine." She responded making Alex and I get out of the room so she could change.
"Alright lets get out of here." Olivia said as she came from the room with fresh clothes on.
To this day I still can't figure out how she woke up but the only thing that matters is that she did...
