(Olivia's POV)
*later that night*
After I was raped I stayed still for what seemed like forever.I layed there as my whole body ached and thought.I thought about Alex and I thought about if I was ever going to get out of here alive.Then it hit me...The perfect idea.
- *Some time later*
I pretended to be asleep as I heard the door open.The goon who was watching me stepped in and was stupid enough to leave the door open.When he grabbed me to wake me up and rammed him in the groin with my knee and jammed my elbow into his ribs causing him to fall to the ground.Adrenaline pulsed through my veins and I ran for it.I ran as fast as I could possibly go which felt like 50mph.The goon couldn't chase after me but he did yell.
"We got a runner catch that bitch!" He shouted throughout the small corridor.I didn't look back.Thoughts of what happened when I ran from Crossbones replayed in my head and I couldn't help but shed a tear at the thought of Alex.How vulnerable he looked last night scared me.I soon found my way to a door and I rammed into it trying to open it.I was almost free until I felt a cloth go over my mouth and nose with the strong smell of chloroform soaked into its pores.I passed out right there wishing I would have made it out.
(Alex's POV)
*Next morning*
I stirred in my sleep and I suddenly heard voices close by.
"Since you are incompetent of anything she is under my watch now because she sure as hell won't run on me." I heard Emerald shout at im assuming one of her goons.
"But I tried sh-:" The goon was cut off as I heard a gunshot go off making me open my eyes in a second.
"Piece of shit." Emerald muttered as she spat on the now dead body with a bullet pierced through his skull as he bleed out on the floor.
I slowly sat up making my presence aware.She looked over and sickly smiled at me.
"Since that piece of shit (referring to the dead hitman) can't keep your bitch confined she is gonna stay with me."
My eyes lit up because I was going to get to see Olivia finally.Then I remembered what I had done to her when she ran from Rian only imagining it ten times worse since its Emerald.
"She will be joining us as soon as she is finished in the punishing room." Emerald smirked at me making my heart drop for Liv.
I heard a blood curdling scream come from down the echoing halls as Emerald opened the door to leave.She looked back at me and smiled a twisted grin.
"Oohh shes a screamer."
I gave her a glare full of hatred as she shut the door leaving me alone again.
- 30 minutes later
(Olivia's POV)
After the beating I received from Emerald and her other goons I had almost wished that it was Alex beating me like he had.At least compared to the beating I just recieved he was gentle.
"Alright little bitch I have no other room so I'm throwing you in here with your 'master' if you try anything with him I'll fucking hang you in front of him and shove your intestines down your throat got it?" Emerald snarled at me and I quickly nodded scared shitless.
I came face to face with a solid metal door that had a fingerprint scanner on the door.That ment only Emerald could open the door.I was currently being held by my hair and it hurt like hell.The door opened and I was thrown in the small room where Alex was as well.A tear fell from my eyes as I met his face again.He actually looked grateful to see me alive.With that Emerald left the room and I made my way over to Alex the best I could with the beating I received moments before.His warm arms found my pained torso and gently wrapped them around me taking some of the pain away.
"I'm glad your not dead." He murmured into my hair.
I couldn't help but cry.This man who I first met months ago was heartless and cold but now he found emotion and he was showing it to me.
"i love you." I whispered hopeful that he didn't hear though of course he did.
I felt his body tense and then he took a deep breath before speaking.
"I-i love you too..."
