Oh Love
Twenty-four.
Alex POV:
The flight was really boring. I watched some movies, browsed through the same magazines for the 16547th time and tried to sleep a bit. "Wake up, my love." I whispered in Ashley's ear. She'd slept on my shoulder for almost the entire flight. "Hm." She opened her eyes. "Are we there yet?" "Yes, welcome to Roatan Island." She smiled and we left the plane, Jack and Emily following us.
"Holy shit." When we entered the airport there was paparazzi and a bunch of fans. I hadn't expect this.. "How did they know?" I asked Jack, while waving at the fans. "Uhm. I might have updated my Twitter status.." he said sheepishly. I rolled my eyes at him. We love our fans and it's always a pleasure to meet them and make them happy with a simple hug, a photo or signature. But I was so tired of the flight that I really didn't feel like doing this now at all. I put my happy face on anyways because I would never let the fans down. Jack and I walked over to them and did the usual. Posing for pictures, signing things and giving some hugs. I could see Ashley didn't know how to react to all of this. "Just stay close to me." I said to her. "So is it true? Are you with her now?" A girl asked while I signed her CD. I smiled and took Ashley's hand. "Yes it is." I answered. "Why did you break up with Lisa?" Another girl asked. "It just.. It didn't work out anymore." "Did you cheat on her?!" Another girl again. "No, ofcourse not! We were happy for a long time but in the end we had more an off than on relationship and I thought it was the best for both of us if we broke up. Ashley makes me really happy now and I feel like the luckiest guy in the world with her." I layed my hand on Ashley's waist. "Can you sign this, too?" the girl with the CD looked at Ashley. "Me?" she asked, surprised. The girl nodded and handed Ashley the CD. Ashley looked at me and I smiled at her. I was happy the fans liked her.
We waited for our luggage and when we had all of our suitcases we walked to the exit, followed by paparazzi. Outside of the airport there was a small van waiting for us, ready to take us to our beach houses.
"Oh my god. This is so beautiful." Ashley sighed when we entered our beach house. I couldn't deny that, it really was a beautiful house. "Just like you." I said and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. She smiled and walked upstairs. She opened the door of the bedroom. There was a big double bed in the middle of the room with a nightstand on each side. There was a television, a mirror, a closet,.. it was perfect. I followed her to the balcony. "Wow." I said and smiled. The view was amazing. I can't even describe it. We had ocean view and this was the prettiest ocean I'd ever seen in my life. Ashley turned around and kissed me. "Thank you." she whispered. "Welcome."
It was already evening and we were all very hungry because let's be honest, food on a plane sucks. So we dressed up to go out for dinner. When Ashley came out of the bathroom, she looked stunning, as always. "So, what did you think of our warm welcome at the airport?" I asked. "You have the best fans ever." She smiled. "I know." I said. "I'm lucky. But I'm even more lucky to have you in my life." She smiled and leaned in to kiss me, just when someone knocked on the door. "HEY GUYS, I'M REALLY HUNGRY!" We laughed and opened the door. "Finally." Jack muttered. "Let's go."
