'Take off your shirt, your shoes, those skinny jeans I bought for you. We're diving in, there's nothing left to lose.' "Alright I agree...it's annoying." He said releasing me from his arms. I searched everywhere, but finally found it on the floor at the foot of my bed. I shut it off and laid with my head hanging off, and on my back.

I felt the bed dip and Jack lay across my chest, laying his head on my left boob. "Comfy?" I questioned. "Extremely... I didn't sleep at all with out you..." He said. My phone started to sing'Mama, we all go to hell. Mama, we all go to hell. I'm writing this letter and wishing you well, Mama, we all go to hell.' "How many alarms did you set up woman?!" Jack asked pulling my phone out of my hand.

"This one's a reminder... I have a wedding to attend today and HOLY SHIT BALLS... I don't have a dress!" I said running over to my closet. I ripped the doors open and rummaged through everything. "I like the view." Jack said. I stood up and glared at him. "Alright, How soon can you have a tux?" I asked. "Uhhh-" "Well I guess I can always go with my back up..." "No I'll find one." He said and sat up.

I walked over to my dresser. I pulled out some clothes for today. I threw them on the bed and shimmied out of my shorts and pulled my shirt over my head. I reached for the new shirt that Jack was holding, I ripped it out of his hand. "Going all out with the Batman today?" He asked giving a chuckle at the same time.

"I'll have you know I could go way more than this. I have 2 bra's, a hoodie, flip flops, ear rings, and a tongue piercing to match. Not to mention I'm wearing the underwear." I pointed down. I pulled on my pants and sat down on my couch and pulled up my socks and slipped my shoes on. "Which drawer is mine again?"

Jack asked pulling out my bra and underwear drawer. "Second to bottom." I said he pulled it out and grabbed a shirt pulling off his own. "OOOOHHH SEXY!" I heard someone yell. I shot my head to my door, Ali wast standing there. "OH my gosh! Get in here!" I said pulling her in. "Who is this?!" She asked crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Oh and Mom's already gone... Work..." "This early?" I asked.

"Yes never mind that! Half naked man in your room! Explain?!" She demanded. "Hey... I'm Jack." I turned and looked at him he was standing with his shirt on but no pants, just boxers. He pulled on his pants. "He's my boyfriend..." I said. "First Parker, then Alex now Jack?" She asked. "I never dated Parker, Nor did I sleep with him-"

"HA! So it was Alex the one I found in here-" "No...That was Jack..." I looked back at him. He was pulling on some socks and his shoes, he smiled a huge goofy grin. Ali walked over and lightly smacked him on the head. "Ow!" I laughed. "That did not hurt! You better not get her pregnant!" "Alright, Wasn't planing on it-"

"No like NEVER planing on it." She said. I sat back down on the couch and laughed. "Alright." She said turning back to me. "I wanna see your dress for tonight." "Uhhh... Can't..." "Why?" "Cause I don't have one yet." I said. She pushed my shoulder. "Paige Elizabeth!" "I'm getting it right now!" I stood up. "Alright, I will be needing your help to set up so." "Yes call me later." I said and gave her a quick hug before I grabbed Jack's hand and pulled him out of my room.

We walked down the steps and out to Jack's car. I got in the passenger seat and he decided to drive. He pulled out of my drive way.I pushed some buttons on the radio settling with whatever CD was in the player. "You and your Blink." I said and shook my head as I turned up All the small things. "They are amazing and you know it." He said raising his voice to prove a point.

I shook my head and pulled my knees up to my chest and leaned my head against the window. This is how I always imagined it would be with Jack. Fun loving, unadulterated fun, just perfect. But for some reason this feeling in my gut was acting all funny, and I couldn't shake it. "Earth to Paige!" Jack waved a hand in front of my face.

"Yeah." I said siting up. "Where are we going?" He asked a big smiled on his face. "The mall, more stores the better chances." I said looking over at him. He smiled and started his way towards the mall. I pulled out my phone and saw a text from Parker.

From Parker:
I thought you were coming back to school today? :(

To Parker:
Nope! Doc's note. Got the week off free!

'She's a dove, she's a fucking nightmare unpredictable, it was my mistake to stay here on the go and it's way too late to play I need a girl that I can train' My phone sang. It was Parker's ring tone.

Me: Yes my Love. (I saw Jack's head spin around to look at me)
Parker: Screw the doctor... Finish the day with me.
Me: No way. I'm so gonna milk this.
Parker: You better be back monday or I'm gonna beat you!
Me: No don't beat me! I will I promise.
Parker: Alright gotta go talk to you later.
Me: Bye, All my loves. Hope you win your game!

I hung up and dropped my phone to my lap. "Who was that?" Jack asked. "Parker." I said turning my head to look at him. He looked a little weird. "Jack... if it's the names. I call everyone by names most of them being like that one." "You mean ones that you call me." He said staring ahead. "Jack, I love you and not everyone can say that." I said. The smiled crept it's way back onto his face.

We pulled up to the mall and got out. I walked up with Jack's hand in my own. We went inside. "Where to first?" He asked. "Uhh... I guess whatever dress store we pass first." We walked for a minute and finally found one. I walked in looking around at all sorts of different styles."So what's off limits when attending a wedding?" Jack asked looking through some racks.

"Well, Don't make me look like a hoe or anything, but other than that really nothing. Oh no white." I finished. He handed me a blue dress. "Go try this one." He said like it was the dress that would magically be the one. "This is the first store Jack-" "Just..." "Alright." I said and took the dress from him. I walked back to the dressing room and shimmied out of my clothes and slipped on the dress.

It was a beautiful floor length gown, It was a blue, almost a toss between royal blue and dark blue. I loved it, I turned in the dress looking at all the spots it might not look good. "Are you gonna show me?" Jack whined. "Alright, Now you gotta give me your honest opinion. I don't wanna be looking a fool or anything alright?" I asked. "I promise, now bring that fine ass out here." He said.

I chuckled and pulled my head out the door. "Come on." He said. I stepped out. "Holy cow-" "Is it bad?!?" I asked totally worried. "No you look amazing." Jack said. I smiled and pulled a strand of hair out of my face. Jack walked over to me. He stood in front of me. One hand resting on my left hip and the other on my right cheek.

I pulled my eyes up to look at his face. I smiled and laughed a little at the bruise around his eye, it wasn't as bad as the one around my ribs. "What?" He asked, still with a smiled on his face not breaking the stares we had on one another. "Just you... my hero. That's the second time you've saved me, Barakat. I'm just glad you think I'm worth saving." His thumb rubbed his thumb across my cheek.

"Always to me babe." He said leaning in closer to bring his lips closer to mine. Simple kisses were some of the best kisses I had ever had. They brought my life at a stand still, if for only a moment, and everything in that moment made sense and was perfect. He pulled away and I turned and went back into the dressing room. I slipped the beautiful dress off and pulled my clothes back on.

I stepped out of the dressing room and out to where Jack was. "Ready?" I asked. He turned to me. "Yep." I walked over to the counter. I laid the dress on the counter. "That all?" The woman asked. "Yes, mam." I said. "120.27" She said. I pulled out my wallet and I looked at Jack, He had his wallet out. I smacked his wallet out of his hand. "Really?" He asked. "Hells yeah." I said and handed the woman my card.

Jack picked up his wallet and looked at me. "It was a gentleman thing to do, you know trying to be gentlemanly here." He said stuffing his wallet back into his pocket. "I know but I had this one." I said. Jack gave me a look and I returned it. We turned and left the store. "Alright gentleman... I would like chinese food." "I can do that." Jack said and took hold of my hand.

We finished eating and were leaving the mall. A girl ran up to us as we left the doors heading to Jack's car. "Oh my gosh, You're Jack Barakat! Can I please get a picture?!" She begged. The girl was short, and had beautiful brown hair and gorgeous green eyes. "Sure." I let go of his hand and all the sudden like 20 girls showed up.

They circled around Jack and I got pushed away. I waited. He finished taking some pictures and signed a jacket and some shoes. I was messing around with my shoe against the ground staring down. "Is she your girl friend?" One of them asked. My head shot up. "Yeah she is." He said. I smiled but my smiled quickly faded.

"She's not even pretty!" One of them shouted. "She isn't even skinny!" "And what's with the bandage?!" Another screamed. I hid my head and jogged over to Jack's car. I mean I agreed with them but, I had almost completely forgotten about my bandage. I found his car and was pushed up against the side of it, with my face plunged into the tops of my knees.

I let a few tears roll down. I pulled the bandage off my arm showing 7 gashes that were stitched back. I stared at them, I hadn't even noticed Jack came over. He leaned down and that's when I noticed him reaching for my arm. "They're right you know." I said quick my breath hitching. "Stop that Paige!" He said and pulled me into his side.

"I'm not pretty, I'm not skinny, and I tried to kill myself-" "Paige stop it. I love you alright? You, not anyone else. I'm happy with you, your the one I want." He said pulling me a little tighter to him. I sniffled and turned my head into his chest. I took in his scent. "Ok..." "You don't sound so sure." "I'm not Jack. One minute I feel fine then it hits me and I wanna blow my fucking brains out. I hate feeling this way, I hate being this way. I don't see me as anything other than a fuck up and a life ruiner." I said and looked up at Jack.

He had tears in his eyes. "See! Terrible person, I'm making you cry. I'm a fucking bitch." I said. "I love you, I wanna spend forever with you and we'll get through this alright? I want you to be comfortable with yourself. I think your the most beautiful person I've ever seen, and talented, not to mention an amazing person!" He kisses my nose.

"Come we don't know when Ali is gonna call, and I'm looking forward to seeing my hot girlfriend in that dress." I nodded and Jack pulled me up with him. He opened my door and I slid in. I pulled my legs up to my chest. I wrapped my arms around the top of my legs and rested my head on top of them. Jack got into the car and started it, looking at me.

"Why do you do that? You sit like that." He asked. "When Chance used to...do things to me... I would sit in the corner of the room like this for hours. It helps me calm down other wise I would have an anxiety attack." I pushed my head into my arms further closing my eyes tight. "I'm so fucked up..." I whisper. Jack pulls one of my hands out and holds it. He rubs the back of my hand until I venture enough to lift my head and open my swollen eyes.

Then my phone rang. I jumped and pulled my hand out of Jack's.

Me: Hello.
Alex: Hey, Where are you? I wanna hang out... Are you ok your breathing really heavy?
Me: Y-Yeah... I-I'm fine...
Alex: Paige... Where are you? I know what that sounds like. Your having a panic attack.

I gripped at my shirt close to my chest and pushed the phone to Jack. I was trying to breathe, but it wasn't working.

Jack: Dude, you've had these before. I'm drawing a blank tell me how to fix it?!

Jack begged. I slammed my head against the head rest a few times. I flung my legs down and threw myself into the back. I sat there and thought about anything, Suddenly Skylar popped into my head. I smiled thinking I was gonna get to see here. "J-Jack just t-take me home... I'm gonna b-be fine, Promise." I said lifting my head up to look at him in the rear view. I tried my best at smiling.

I learned to deal with these by myself considering I liked to be alone most often. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Y-Yeah... I'm good." I said. I closed my eyes and just thought about Sky. She's my younger cousin. She is 4 and beautiful.

You felt the car stop and the engine cut out. You dropped your arms realizing you were gripping at your arm so hard you left a thumb print on the inside of your upper arm. I opened the door and slid out. I wrapped my arms around my torso and walked into the garage. "Paige." Jack said following me.

I didn't want to talk. "Paige.." He said a little louder but sweeter. I walked up the steps and into my kitchen. I opened the fridge pulling out a tub of Nutella. I dug my finger into it and put it in my mouth. "MMMMM!" I said and leaned back against the counter. "Good?" Jack asks. I laugh and wipe my eyes. "Yeah. I thought about Sky and we used to eat it by the handfuls... She's what calmed me down."

Jack nodded. "I'm gonna leave you to get ready and I'm gonna go pick up my suit alright?" He asks as if I'm gonna do something to myself. "I'll be fine Jack... Promise." I say and he walks over pulling me into a hug and kissing my lips. I started to pull away and he looped his fingers into my belt loops and pulled me close.

"Not right now, Barakat. Got a wedding to get ready for..." I said against his lips. "Alright... I guess." He said and started to leave my home. I walked back over to my Nutella jar and put it up. I walked over and grabbed my bag with my dress in it and headed back towards my room. Hopefully tonight id gonna be fun...
