Summary
This story is told from Jack's POV. It happens in an AU, where All Time Low doesn't exist. The story is set in 2009, when Jack is 21 years old.
Jack is just a normal guy, who works in an ice cream shop. He's a bit of an asshole, really - if going out with a different girl every night and being rude to people in general is how you'd define the word "asshole".
However, one day his life changes, with a crash. Literally. After he gets hit by a truck and almost dies on the way to the hospital, he decides he needs to become a better person, and finds a new purpose in life - to help someone, to change someone's life to better. But he hasn't considered how difficult this might turn out to be...
Alex is a homeless boy, who has joined a gang to survive the tough life on the street. To prove himself to be strong in front of his "friends", he decides to go out one night alone and rob some random person. Things don't quite turn out the way he planned, though.
Note: Not all of the band members are included in this story. This is a light slash fanfiction, which means there isn't going to be any smut, because: one, I simply don't write things like that; and two, because it's not important for the storyline and it's not the main focus of it.
