“Camille,” I called as I entered her house. Camille and I did this to each other when we started dating, since I can sense when she’s close due to my imprinting.
“Alex,” I heard Camille’s feet run across the floor upstairs. Soon I saw my girlfriend running down the stairs, skipping the last step before she ran into my arms.
“Hey, someone has loads of energy tonight,” I chuckled as I held her tightly to me.
“I met someone new from my family, actually two new people,” she beamed, “I met my grandmother and one of my cousins from my mom’s side of the family.”
“Who,” I asked.
“Me,” a tall guy with some tattoos and dark hair and freckles that spread across his nose replied, “I’m Austin Carlile, Camille’s werewolf cousin.”
“Wait, you have werewolves in your family,” I was puzzled by this; I thought Cam was only a witch.
“My mom was born purely human, I didn’t inherit any werewolf traits,” she explained.
“What brings you into town, Austin,” I asked him as Camille led all of us to the living room to sit and talk.
“I’m here to train you on how to tap into Camille’s magic. I imprinted a witch too and I learned how to use her magic when I needed to protect her. It comes in handy on new moons and the waxing and waning crescents,” he explained.
“So you’ll help us figure how all of this works,” I asked him, “I’m still adjusting to being a wolf and I think your help would be awesome.”
“Wait, you got turned,” he was confused; “I thought you were a natural born wolf.”
“Our friend Lessa lost control of herself and she bit him while I was practicing. Alex imprinted on me after he turned for his first time,” Cam told him.
“I can teach you everything I know and maybe give this Lessa a couple pointers on how to control herself around humans,” Austin smiled.
“Well there is only one human she will never bite, or allow to know what she is,” Camille told him.
“Who’s that,” he asked.
“Her boyfriend Zack,” I told him, “She imprinted on him freshman year when me and my friends introduced them. They started dating a couple days later and have been inseparable since.”
“Well he’s lucky to have her to protect him,” Austin replied, “We can start training today if you want Alex.”
“Let’s do it,” I replied.
“Alright Camille, stay seat and relaxed. Alex is going to tap into your magic to create a little tornado in the yard,” Austin told her. I was a wolf now, Austin said it’s best for me to learn how to use her magic as a wolf so I can also use her magic while I’m a wolf too.
“Okay,” Camille replied, I could feel her relax.
“I’ll be gentle on how much power I use, Cam,” I told her as I started to focus.
“I always trust you, Alex,” she replied.
I pulled on her energy and I felt the wind pick up around me, sending my fur whipping around in all sorts of directions. I soon made it spin and I formed a tiny tornado that whipped around me before I lost my focus and it disappeared.
“That’s a strong start, Alex,” Austin praised, “You’ll get better with more practice. I think that’s enough for today. You can turn back.”
I trotted over to Camille; she had my clothes. I turned back in front of her and I slipped on my boxers and jeans. I got my shirt from her and kissed her softly before slipping it on over my head.
“Alex, I know about the Synfires. Baltimore isn’t the city dealing with them,” Austin spoke up, “With Halloween coming up they’ll try to pull something. All witches are strongest on Halloween, which means the Synfires will try to attack Camille to drag her to their side of the war.”
“Wait, there’s a war against the Synfires,” I asked.
“I just found out from my grandmother, Alex,” Camille replied, “I’m a spectrum witch since I haven’t taken the oath to join the white witches.”
“But you will take that oath right,” I asked, “I mean if you become a white witch as you say, it could protection to you.”
“I have to wait until I know all about magic before I can take the oath,” she replied, “We aren’t out of the woods yet with the Synfires. My grandmother is going to provide protection for us until I am ready though.”
“Is that why she’s here,” I asked.
“It is,” I looked up and I saw an older woman coming out onto the patio.
“You must be Camille’s grandmother,” I mentioned as I stood up to greet her properly.
“I am,” she replied, “I am Evelyn Chambers, High Witch Council representative of the Chambers family of white witches. You must be Alex Gaskarth, Camille’s newly turned werewolf boyfriend.”
“I am, it’s an honor to meet you, Ms. Chambers,” I tipped my head to her, I had no idea why I was being so proper and formal with her.
“You can relax, Alex. Call me Grandma Eve,” she replied, “I can tell you are curious why you are being so formal with me. That’s because the werewolves are allies to us white witches, even you are Alex. The instinct to be proper and polite to a High Witch is implanted into your wolf, passed through the bite you received from Alessa. She was born as a werewolf, meaning she will formal with me like you are.”
“Grandma Eve,” Camille rose to stand next to me, “Will we be able to get me to take my oath to the white witches before Halloween?”
“I’m afraid not, dear,” she replied, “You have way too much to learn before you can take the oath. But I suggest that Alex and Lessa stay here at the house with your other friends that know about this so I can protect you all.”
“What about our friend Zack,” I asked, “He doesn’t know anything, but the Synfires know he’s with Lessa.”
“Lessa has to tell him,” she replied, “She has no choice in the manner. He must be informed and included in what’s happening so he can be better protected. A simple imprinting will not protect him from the Synfires.”

So after checking out your other story, I decided to check this one out too. And I'm glad I did because I really like this one as well. :D Bummed since it hasn't been finished or continued, but if you ever choose to, I will be here for this one as well.
You definitely offer unique plot lines so I think that's what I enjoy about your stories. I love the fantasy plot line of this one. I think Alex and Camille together are soooo cute. <3
I really hope you consider continuing this some day. I will be here to read.
