This Love Was Accidental
Chapter 4
P.O.V Alex
Mr Barakat stared at me, his mouth hung open in shock. I'm sure I looked the same. What have I done? I had a fling with my music teacher. I felt sick. Despite my inner turmoil, I couldn't help but notice how hot he looked, the way his beautiful eyes were wide in shock, his perfect mouth slightly parted with surprise. 'Stop it Alex! You can't like your music teacher! He's your teacher for gods sake', I thought to myself. But I did, I felt something for my music teacher. Something that I shouldn't.
'Um..Hey guys, I'm Mr Barakat, but you can call me Jack'. The sound of the mans voice pulled me from my thoughts. Jack, his name was Jack.
'Im going to be your music teacher from now on', he continued to say. His voice was beautiful, manly but still soft. It gave me butterflies. Again my thoughts were interrupted by the girl next to me, Lisa, nudging my arm. Apparently I had been to busy in my daydream to have heard Jack asking me my name.
'Eh, A-lex', I sputtered out, unable to meet his eye.
'Alex', he repeated before moving on and asking the boy next to me.
First period went slowly, I spent my time trying to avoid eye contact with Jack and avoid thinking about him . I managed to avoid looking at him but he was on my mind for the full period, should I talk to him or just ignore him the best I could for a full year. I had no idea and I really needed to talk to Rian and Zack about it. Thankfully for me, the bell rang to signal the end of the class. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door as fast as I could. I made my way to the hall to meet up with Rian and Zack, thankfully we had a study period so I could talk to them both.
'Rian, Zack, I need to speak to you too', I said as I walked towards them.
'What's up man?', Zack asked.
I then proceeded to tell them the whole story about Jack and the night at the bar. They listened carefully to me and allowed me to rant.
' You should speak to him', Zack said. 'Hes probably just as freaked out as you'
' Yeah, go see him now', Rian added.
' Yeah I will', I agreed as I got up and walked to Jacks classroom.
Once I got outside his classroom I took a few deep breaths to calm myself. I knocked the door twice.
'Come in', his voice replied.
