This Love Was Accidental
Chapter 25
P.O.V Alex
Today was the day. The day I was finally getting to see Green Day and Jimmy Eat World. Excited was an understatement. I absolutely love Rian and Zack for getting Jack and I tickets for my birthday, it was so kind of them. I have the greatest friends and boyfriend. Jack was going to drive us to the gig seeing as it was at a venue that was 2 hours away but it would be worth it.
I was at Jacks getting ready for the gig and I was having a major dilema, should I wear the Green Day shirt Jack gave me or the Jimmy Eat World one. I just couldn't decide.
'Jack! Get your ass in here! I need you!', I yelled to Jack who was in the bathroom styling his hair into its usual style . Jack came running through, an expression of panic on his face. The panic was soon replaced with a frown when he realised there was nothing actually majorly wrong with me.
'Don't do that!', he scolded. 'You had me scared there!'.
'Sorry mother', I replied sarcastically. 'Anyway, on to more important things, what shirt should I wear?', I said, handing Jack both for him to admire.
'Either, you look great in both', he smiled as he replied. Clearly amused by my shirt problem.
'Buuutt, just pick one for me!', I whined.
'Fine, go for this one', he said throwing the Jimmy Eat World shirt at me. In that moment I suddenly decided I wanted the Green Day shirt, I pulled it on and watched as Jack sighed in exasperation.
'You're impossible you know that right?' He said with a laugh, walking towards me.
'But you love me', I retorted. Jack just smiled and pulled me in for a quick kiss before slapping me on the ass and telling me to finish getting ready or we were going to be late. We couldn't be late, I wanted to be at the front. I quickly finished getting ready, grabbed the tickets and off we went.

The gig was immense. Jimmy Eat World were great and Green Day were just so.. I don't even have words for how amazing they were. I was exhausted and my throat was sore from all the screaming and singing I had done. Jack was wxhausted too and I felt bad that he needed to drive us home. It was Sunday aswell so he would need to be up early for work tomorrow.
'Jack, if you don't want to drive we could always book into a hotel for the night or something? Drive back tomorrow.' Jack just smiled and shook his head.
'Don't worry about me, I'm fine.', He reassured me. I didn't believe him but I still got in the car. By now it was dark and it was raining making the roads even more dangerous, it looked like Jack was about to fall asleep. He was straining to keep his eyes open.
'babe, just stop at a hotel you're to tired to drive', I tried to convince him but he wasn't having it.
'Alex, I'm fine!', he said looking at me and smiling sleepily. He didn't see the deer that ran out on the road until he turned round again.
'Shit!', he screamed as he swerved to avoid the deer. The car veered uncontrobally over the edge of a grass hill and began to roll down. All I could hear was my screams and Jacks screams as the car rolled without any signs of stopping. I tried to reach for Jack but I couldn't and then it all stopped, even Jacks screaming. I looked over to check he was okay, he wasn't. His head was against the broken window, blood was smeared down the shards of glass of the remaining window. I wanted to scream for him, to scream for help but I couldn't and then I blacked out.
