This Love Was Accidental
Chapter 19
P.O.V Alex
Today was once again my first day back at school after another extended period of absence. The first time for the flu, the second was because Vic nearly killed me. I was still a little bruised and the gash on my head wasn't fully healed so i knew i was going to get questions and how was i meant to answer them? What was i supposed to tell Zack and Rian? At least i would have Jack to help me through it or so i thought. Just as i thought that i got a text from Jack.

Morning beautiful, I won't be in today unfortunately, i have stuff i need to do. Good luck though. It'll be fine. I love you. X
My heart dropped a bit, Jack wasn't going to be there. What was he actually doing though that would make him miss work?

It was a while before Jack replied so i just get ready . I styled my hair so my fringe would cover most of the gash on my head and i wore a long sleeved top to hide the bruises across my arms. There wasnt much i could do for my black eye and busted lip so i sighed and grabbed my phone to leave the house just as Jack texted back.

I was still worried, this was unusual behavior for him. What if he was going after Vic?! I was beginning to panic. What if he did and got hurt? Got hurt for me? My breathing was becoming shallow and quick so i took a few deep breaths to calm down and left for school.
School was awful just as i predicted. I told everyone that i had just had a bad fall down the stairs and they believed it. Rian and Zack didn't buy it though. They pushed and pushed until i told them the truth.
*flashback*
'Okay okay!', i exclaimed to Rian and Zack. 'I'll tell you. Well basically on Friday after my gig. I got beat up.', i said quietly. Their faces were shocked their mouths hung open.
'WHO THE HELL WOULD DO THAT TO YOU!', Zack exploded, jumping from his seat making everyone look our way.
'Zach, shut up', Rian said. 'Who did this to you Alex?', Rian said more quietly than Zack.
'Vic Fuentes', i whispered back.
'The guy from Pierce the Veil', Ryan asked confused.
'Yeah, i'm kind of dating his ex... Jack... Mr Barakat', I said my face flushing bright red as i hid my face.
*end of flashback*
They took it fairly well and for that i was glad. They promised to keep it quiet, but i don't think Jack will be to pleased that I told them. Maybe i just shouldn't tell him? I would decide before i went to his tonight.
