Aubree's wit made it so hard for me to come up with the best way to propose to her. I am so happy to have Jack and Stella, they gave me great advice. So I went out and got some takeout and went to Aubs apartment. I was so damn nervous. I was about to ask the girl that was my world to be mine forever. God, Dad and Jack were amazing to manage to do this.

"Hey Tom," Aubree greeted me with a sweet kiss and a warm hug.

"I brought take out. I thought we could stay in and watch a movie or I could help you study for your classes," I told her.

"Let's eat and then we can watch a movie," Aubree took the food from me and I followed her inside.

As we ate, I kept touching the pocket of my jeans that hid the ring. I could not let Aubree know what I was planning yet. I wanted to surprise her. I mean she knows I want to marry her, but I want to surprise her that I was ready to marry her.

Aubree finished her food before me and she looked over at me. Shit, she was picking up that I was nervous. I've been discovered. Mission over.

"Tom, are you hiding something," she asked as she wiped her hands off with her napkin.

"Aubree, how am I going to say this," I paused as I grabbed hold of her left hand, "I'm going to be blunt., I love you so much. You are my entire world and I want to start the rest of my life with you. Aubree Dawson, will you marry me?"

I took out the ring box from my pocket and I showed her the ring. Aubree covered her mouth with her other hand as her eyes lit up and tears began to form in them.

"Tom, I say yes," Aubree squealed with joy. I slid the ring onto her finger and it looked marvelous on her.

"Thank you, Aubs. You have no idea how nervous I was," I told her as I pulled her in for a deep, loving kiss.

"I love you, Tom," Aubree whispered against my lips, "We're going to get married and our lives will be perfect, just like Jack and Stella's."

"I love you too, Aubree," I replied against her lips.

"Uncle Tommy! Aunt Aubree," Izzy shouted as she ran out of the front door of Jack and Stella's house.

"Izzy," I greeted her as I scooped her into my arms.

"Did you do it, Uncle Tommy," she asked.

"I did it, Izzy," I told her as I kissed her cheek.

"Yay," she raised her arms up into the air.

"Izzy," Stella called as she walked out onto the porch to greet us. I sat Izzy down on the ground.

"Mommy, mommy, Uncle Tommy did it," she cheered as she ran to Stella's side.

"You asked," Stella asked.

"I said yes," Aubree showed Stella the ring and I saw my sister grin.

"There's my son," Dad said as he joined Stella on the porch. I guess Stella had planned to have a family dinner with us and our parents.

"Hey Dad," I greeted him.

"Aubree, how about you and I go inside while these two have some man time," Aubree nodded to Stella and followed her inside with Izzy.

"So Tom, I heard from Jack you got a ring for Aubree," Dad said as he sipped on his beer.

"I actually proposed last night. She said yes, Dad," I told him.

"Congratulations, Tom. Now you'll joining Stella and starting your own family," he patted me on the shoulder.

"I was really nervous, to be honest," I told him.

"Trust me, I was when I proposed to your mom," Dad replied.

"Same with me," Jack popped his head around the corner in front of the porch with little Ace on his leash.

"So when do you want to get married," Dad asked.

"Maybe at the end of August. I'm sure Aubree doesn't want to wait too long on getting married. We only get so much time off between tours and trips to the studio," I replied.

"Say the word and Stell and I will help you plan your wedding, Tom," Jack added.

I can't believe it. I'm going to be a married man in a few months. Then after that, I can plan my entrance into parenthood with Aubree. I was so jealous of Jack and Stella. Izzy was amazing and I want my own baby to raise.
