Guitar Strings and Secrets
As School ends, I walk back over to The Music Block to see Mr. Barakat sitting on one of the desks with a guitar with the word Boner Stuck to it. As I see him there strumming a few cords as he swings his legs back and forth he starts to remind me of a little kid. "Darcy, Come sit" He smiles patting the Desk next him. I Walk over and Sit next to him as He passes me his guitar, I start to feel my Face Turn Bright red. "Are You Okay" Mr. Barakat asks curiously. "Yeah just a little anxious" I stutter as He wraps his right arm around my shoulder, placing my hand correctly on the head of the guitar. I Look up to his Face and Look into Mr. Barakat's Deep Dark Chocolate Brown eyes, "So Mr. Barakat When Playing the Guitar, I should Hold it Like this?" I sigh softly. "Please Call me Jack, also Your Still Holding it wrong" He Laughs, Moving the guitar into position As Jack... I mean Mr. Barakat teaches me a few songs on the guitar, I start to feel as if We have a connection..... Which I think we should stop right now because a Student Teacher Relationship is illegal but I just go along with it anyway.
"Darcy, So What Bands do you Listen to?" He whispers softly. I smile forms upon my face, "Blink 182, Green day, MayDay Parade, Pierce the Veil and stuff like That". "Thats basically the same for me" Mr. Barakat smirks. Sweeping his skunk striped hair back into place, Jack moves away from me. "Well I Have to go now" I lie because I start to feel the urge to kiss him. Jack waves goodbye to me as I walk out of the door. Walking back over to the Girls Dorm, Rebecca stops me in my Tracks. "What's this about You trying to get cosy with Mr. Barakat?" She Snarls. "There is Nothing going on between us, he was just teaching me a few songs on the guitar" I mutter. Rebecca pulls out her phone and shoves it in my face, "Really... Well How do can you explain this" she growls like a dog. I start to sigh, "He was teaching me how to hold my guitar properly, now go away. You stupid slut". As I start to walk away, Rebecca yells out to me, "You're the Slut trying to Sleep with teachers".
Walking into my bedroom, Cassidy is sitting on her bed giving me a million dollar grin that she probably spent an hour practicing in the mirror. "How was Your Guitar Lesson with Mr. Barakat, Was it Romantic" she laughs. I Pick up my pillow and throw it at her, "No it wasn't but I got to use his guitar". I Look at Cassidy to see a shocked look on her face, "His Boner Guitar, He doesn't Let anyone accept himself touch it. Hmm I wonder why he would let you use it?" I lay down on my bed all spread out, "maybe He Likes me? I Have no clue" I mumble rolling over onto my tummy. "Looks Like someone has a crush on you" Cassidy teases , Throwing back my pillow. "Rebecca saw Me with Mr. Barakat, Apparently she thinks I was trying to get cosy with Him" I Laugh. "Rebecca got one of the teachers fired last year because she kissed Mr. Quinn on Purpose" She Replies.
Waking up the Next day, I Put on My Jack Skellington Shirt and a Pair of Blue High Waisted shorts. Checking my Time Table I see That Today is a weekend which means no Classes for a whole 2 Days... WOO! Walking over to the Cafeteria for breakfast, Rebecca backs me up against the wall. "I Don't W ant to see You That Close with Mr. Barakat again She Grunts before walking away back to her table. Sitting Down Next to Cassidy, I see That One of Her Friends are Back sitting With Us again and That Friend is Haruhi . Haruhi is actually Very Nice but She Hates Cassidy with a passion turns out Haruhi wasn't sitting wither us yesterday because she had a meeting to go to.
"You Know We are aloud to walk out of the school grounds during weekends, we Just Have to be back by 10:30pm" Cassidy Whispers to me. I stand up, "Guys Lets go shopping" I Grin. Leaving the school Gates, Carrying My Skateboard underneath my arm, Cassidy drags Haruhi and I too The Skate Park. As I ride around the Park on My Skateboard for a few Hours, I see that I can't find The girls anywhere. Until I remember that They Left to go shopping, Walking over to the Metal bench. I Start to hear a familiar Voice singing, From a far away distance. I Look around to see mr. Barakat sitting underneath a giant oak tree So I decide to go join him.
"Umm Jack" I tremble as He turns around and Looks at me. "Oh Darcy You Scared me Half to Death" He Laughs as I Sit down on the leaf covered ground with him. "Jack, I... I Have something to tell you" I mumble. Jack Leans closer towards me, "I Have something to say First and That is... I Love You". I start to freeze up as He grabs ahold of my hand. "You Just took the Workds right out of my Mouth" I blush. Jack moves even closer towards me and Before I Know it Our Lips are Locked together. As We kiss, I Move my Hand into Jack's soft Hair. I Start to feel as of we are doing something wrong but This is actually My first Kiss.
