A Sea Of Sound
Chapter Six:
Alex’s POV:
“Alex?!” I heard a muffled Jack shriek. It must be pretty important seeing as I heard him asking his dad to start packing his stuff. Within, literally, two seconds I had ran out my house and into his unlocked one. I tried finding Jack, but he was nowhere to be seen. I breathed in, following his scent. I gasped looking down at Jack passed out in a blood soaked corner of the room. I picked him up in my arms, travelling back into my house so fast no one could have seen me. I laid him down on my bed grimacing at his state. He was still breathing, which was the only positive in this scenario. I began running the bath and once it was done I removed all his clothes but his boxers and placed him in the warm water. I removed my clothes, bar my boxers, sliding in under him. I got the jug from the side, filling it with warm water and began washing him.
Jack's POV:
My head was pounding, so much that I couldn't physically open my eyes. I trailed my hand across the bed I seemed to be laying on."A-Alex?" I asked, confused about the bump underneath my hand.
"Oh my god, Jack?" I heard Alex's voice. I smiled widely opening my eyes. I smiled even wider as I was greeted with Alex's, literally, perfect face. His hand cupped my jaw and he rubbed my cheek, "You're awake. You're alive."
"I guess." I said shrugging. "See this vampire thing? Is that why you're so perfect or do you get to keep your face when you change?" He gulped hard before sitting cross-legged across from me.
"You get to keep your personality and shit but my face and body got changed." He began tracing circles in the bed covers. "I have no idea what I look like though so I don't know if it's for the better or not."
"It would actually be physically impossible to be more attractive than you Alex." I mumbled.
"Jack... Could you tell me what I look like?" I nodded before removing myself from under the covers and sitting right in front of him, cross-legged as well.
"Well, you have the most beautiful eyes. They're like dark brown but they have these amazing flickers of orange and caramel through them. Your lips are also like the perfect size. They also curve up into the most perfect smile and you have this faint stubble just leaving a slight dark brown outline across your face. Your hair is a sort of dark caramel colour and it always sits perfectly, somehow."
"I guess I could look worse." He said shrugging.
I shook my head, "So even after this venom thing transformed you into this perfect human you still don't believe you look good?" He nodded. "I guess I'll need to work on that." I said smiling.
