After weeks of rehearsing with Alex, Rian, and Zack, the day of the competition came quickly. Only a few days away from standing up on the shitty camp's stage and playing our hearts out. After the first band meeting, we actually came up with a band name that everyone agreed one. The people around the camp now addressed us as 'the kid from All Time Low', but no one minded. It made us feel pretty badass.
"Hey Jackypoo." I heard Alex say behind me, throwing an arm over my shoulders.
"Hello Lexy." I winked, making him giggle. "I missed you!"
"I was gone for 3 minutes." Alex stated, making me roll my eyes.
"I could of died in those three minutes!" Joking around, he let go my shoulders, walking away from me. "No come back!" I cried, making him laugh even harder.
"Enough flirting. We gotta get to rehearsal." Zack said behind us, walking towards Rian and his cabin. Once we were all set up, we started our short set. Alex came up with these songs a while ago, but he recently wrote Walls dedicated for me. Which was pretty adorable. We finished Shameless, Therapy, and Return The Favor when he started to sing Walls, making me smile.
"Sounded good!" Rian said from behind us, putting his sticks in his back pocket.
"Were going dominate." Zack agreed, smiling at us like serial killers. Looking at Alex, I knew he was nervous. All we had to do is make sure Alex doesn't get too emotional during Therapy, and we will win this.
