8:53 a.m. From: Unknown Number I see you have my briefcase. This is all you should need to crack my code. ‘It was like a time bomb set into motion.’ You know this is destined to explode. I might not help you out of this wreck. You know. I wish I had used a bomb. Good ideas take more time I suppose. ~16 I stare down at my phone my Mcmuffin barely staying in my mouth. I swallow it and grab my McDonalds bag making a sprint for the bus through the hospital, where Rian and Zack should be. I bust through the door to a very flustered looking Matt. “Where’s Rian and Zack?” I snap at him. “They just said they’re going up to Alex’s.” He raises a curious eyebrow at me, “Thanks man.” I nod to him and turn around starting to run back to the hospital up to Alex’s room. Matt is going to notice something soon enough. We’re going to have to tell him. Something I am not looking forward to. “I got a text!” I shout through the hall as soon as I see Zack standing in the doorway, I get several dirty looks from nurses. I ignore them and run in past Zack. “I see you have my briefcase. This is all you should need to crack my code. ‘It was like a time bomb set into motion.’ You know this is destined to explode. I might not help you out of this wreck. You know. I wish I had used a bomb. Good ideas take more time I suppose.” I recite looking at the three other men in the room. “The only like we need is ‘It was like a time bomb set into motion’” Rian raises an eyebrow. “How the hell do we crack a code from that?” Zack groans and closes the door. “We don’t have forever.” “It was like a time bomb set into motion… time bomb…” Rian mutters pacing. “Do you think it might have to do with the rest of the song?” Alex shrugs looking overwhelmed by everything. “We need three digits from it.” I add. “Okay well lets break this down then.” Rian nods and rubs his head. “It only makes like 40 letters. Is there any general bomb code? Or a countdown time?” Rian looks at all of us. Alex shakes his head, I shrug. Zack just looks like he spaced out completely. “Time bomb…” Alex mutters again. “What time did he send the text?” Zack looks at me with a raised eyebrow. “That doesn’t make sense.” I shake my head. “It’s worth a shot.” Alex sighs. Rian walks over to the corner where the bag is while I pull out my phone. “8:53” Rian nods and spins the dials. “Attempt number1.” Rian closes his eyes when we all hear a small click. “We got it.”
