Alex Gaskarth is depressed. His home life is unsatisfactory. His school life is equally as disappointing. He tries to make good grades, but he can't find the motivation anymore. He just wants to disappear. Unfortunately, he's not a magician.

Jack Barakat is the normal, cute, popular boy. He has tons of friends. He's been the lead in almost every school play for the past three years. He's got the perfect girlfriend, the perfect personality, and the perfect grades. He loves high school.

Alex and Jack seem like the most unlikely couple in the whole universe. It feels so right, though. But when the pressures of popularity take their toll on Jack, will their love be enough to make Jack stay?
