The Forgotten Five

Fairy Princess Alice

Alice’s Pov-

“Get the door would ya’?” Mom declared, not a hint of love in her voice.
“Fine.” The same amount of love was returned. I got up from the table and, as slowly as possible, walked to the front door. Behind it made a little puke come up.
“Finally, walk slow enough zombie girl.” It was my moms boyfriend, Chuck. He was a muscle freak and he would do everything in his power to annoy me to death. “Still see you haven’t gained any weight.” And the torture begins.
“Why.....” I stopped myself, like I said, muscle freak. And he knew too well how to use those things.
“Why what? I have my own question for you, who’s the fairy princess that threw up on you today? Same one as usual?” I rolled my eyes
“Oh yeah, she stopped by right before you came over, she says hi.” My sarcasm didn’t amuse.
“Oh, so you think you is funny now,” whenever he got mad he tries to get an accent, “lets see em’ tough guy.” He pushed beside me and continue up to my smoking mom.
“That made absolutely no sense, for one I’m female and two the conversation before had nothing to do with what you just stated.” A confused look passed over his face, he was not the brightest bulb in the pack. I cleared my throat, “You, no make sense, me female.” I shook my head up and down as if to a toddler.
“You know what, I think she’s mocking us.” mother gasped oh so dramatically.
“Now why would she do that, she needs my money to live, and she owes me her life for giving it to her, on accident, in the first place.” Hurt swiped over my face at her remark.
“Now that hurt....no joking...” I looked down as they laughed.
“That wasn’t a joke hon, I need a sacrifice and your it.” Mom claimed.
“Yeah, someone kidnaps you and you’re on your own.” Chuck didn’t even hold back.
“Lets just eat dinner, I’m hungry...” My voice cracked.
“Since when aren’t you?” They both chuckled at the joke, the painful joke.
With a sigh I walked over to the table and began eating, wolfing down anything and everything on my plate, and then some more. There were never leftovers in the house. After that I ran upstairs before the two ogres could do any physical harm to match my mental.
Before even considering my room I went to the bathroom. There I took mother’s toothbrush and flipped it so that the bottom faced my mouth.
I walked over to the toilet with my reflection, the blonde looked just as tired as I did. My reflections blue eyes looked up one last time before bending over the seat.
Using the toothbrush I shoved it to the back of my throat, hitting the uvula harshly, and threw up. Chicken bits and beans spewed out, along with spittle and some drops of blood. Repeating the first action a little more came up, applesauce from lunch and some peanut butter sandwich.
It hurt, I’d be lying to say it didn’t, but it made me feel good. Like I wasn’t fat or anything. Infact you could see my ribs and practically every other bone in my body.
The last time I threw up I did it unexpectedly, there was no food involved, just blood. This last time scared me a little. Blood would only come up on occasion, it didn’t happen a lot!
I dropped the toothbrush and ran out of the bathroom and, without thinking, ran back down the stairs. They were waiting.
“Heard your little show upstairs, so that’s how you do it.” Chuck grinned maliciously.
“And all this time you had me thinking you had a good metabolism...and that made me feel fat.” Well, mom wasn’t skinny.
“Awwwwww, see what you did, you made your mother feel bad. Apologize.” Chuck demanded, my insides twisted at the force behind his voice.
“I’m....sorry...”
“Not good enough!” Chuck snapped.
“I’m sorry.”
“Again!”
“I’m sorry!” After those words left my mouth I got the biggest smack to the face ever given.
“Don’t yell at me!” Chuck snapped again, mother just sneered.
“I’m sorry....no I’m not.” Chuck threw a fist at me.
“What was that?”
“I said that I wasn’t sorry....” That earned me another smack. And all it did was escalate, even to the point that silence wasn’t tolerated.
By the end of the night I couldn’t even climb the stairs it got so bad, but the worst part was that this wasn’t the worst part. The worst part when Chuck decided to stay the night, that had me crying in an instant.
“Awwww, don’t worry Alice, I’ll get rid of the fairy princess for you tomorrow...” Those were Chuck’s final words as he went upstairs with my mom to do who knows and I don’t wanna guess.

Notes

Hello peoples
For whoever wonders about the "fairy princess" part, its because Alice dresses very girly girl like but is a rebel at heart, quoting Nicky who wrote this.
