Best Day Ever
Lucy's P.O.V.
So, I got ready to go on you could call a "date" but I dont think so. As I was finishing up i heard a knock at the door.
"Yeah??" I answer.
"Are you finished yet??" Jack asks, I chuckle.
"Yeah, hold on." I say as I open the door. He stares at me. Do I look that bad?? Gosh, I knew I was ugly. "I guess this is ugly, I can change-" He stopped me putting a finger up to my mouth.
"Lucy, you look amazing!!" He said. I smile.
"Really??" I ask. He nods. I look down and blush.
"Come on. We have plans." He says holding his hand out, I willingly take it and we leave the bus. We walked to a limo and after about 15 minutes we came out to see a park.
"What are we doing here??" I ask Jack looking around. He takes my hand.
"Somewhere special." He says leading me deeper into the park. Jack had blind folded me and after what seemed like forever of walking he finally stopped he un-blindfolded me and what I saw was spectacular. A picnic. It had all my favorites!! Chicken, pizza, grapes, ice cream!! And the blanket was red my favorite color!! Mabey that is why Jack was asking all those questions..
"Jack.. I dont know what to say!!" I say holding my hands to my mouth. He smiles.
"Then dont say anything, just eat." He says as he leads me on to the blanket. For the next half-hour me and Jack just sat, ate, and talked. It has to be the best date ever!!
"Lucy, can I ask you something??" Jack said turning to face me. I give him a confused look.
"Sure, anything." I say. He pauses a bit.
"Well, ever since I saw you I have had these feelings for you.. and I was wondering.." He started. Oh gosh.
"Yes??" I say. He gets as close as he can get, takes my hand, and looks me straight in the eyes.
"Lucy Merrick, will you be my girlfriend??" He says. I smile.
"Yes, Jack Barakat, I will be your girlfriend." And with that he kisses me. It is not like any other kiss I have ever had before. I felt sparks, NO, fireworks!! It felt like every thing in the world had stopped an had focused on us at that very moment. But after some minutes Jack pulled away.
"I love you Lucy." He said putting his head to rest on mine. I smile and blush a bit.
"I love you Jack." I say as I peck his lips.
