I woke up the next day to Jack. “Jack” I yelled “Wake up we have school”
“Okay I’ll be up in five Alex”
“What happened last night Jack? All I remember is coming over here crying after an argument with Tom”
“Yeah that’s all that happened really. I gave you a hug as that’s what you wanted and after a few minutes you fell asleep on me. Tay called and asked where you were as you were supposed to meet her. But I told her what you told me and that you were here with me. She came over and then said she would see you tomorrow during tutor. I’m sure she won’t mind too much after all you seemed extremely upset” Me and Jack made our way to school. I was scared to be honest. I knew my brother now had an idea that I was gay. He also had the idea that Jack was gay. If my brother told any of his friends that meant Mark, Josh and the worst one of all (well apart from Tom) Oliver Sykes. Although I really doubted that my brother would tell anyone (He wouldn’t want anyone to know his little brother was gay. It would ruin his reputation) but I was still prepared for the name calling and teasing. No one in school was understating of gay well except the younger years but they didn’t really understand what it was or why the older ones teased.
“Hey” I was greeted with a huge kiss from my beautiful girlfriend Tay.
“Hey” I greeted her back with a kiss “Sorry about last night. I had a huge argument with my brother. I was really upset. I just needed to talk to someone and the nearest person was Jack”
“It’s alright, I came to Jacks last night you’d fallen asleep in his arms, and you must have been upset. It must have been a really massive argument with your brother. It must have been something you feel really passionately about”
“Yea it was about gay people, he hates them. He and most of his friends do and they just tease and mock them. I mean they started teasing Jack from the first day because they thought he was gay. My brother says I’m not allowed to be friends with Jack just in case I catch gay from him. Sometimes I hate my brother”
“Oh right I can see your issue. I don’t know what I would do if Jordan and Cameron said I wasn’t allowed to see one of my best mates”
“Hey Alex. Hey Jack, Hey Tay” I heard Rian and Zack call across the corridor
“Hey Rian, Zack” I called back “You coming band practice over mine tonight. I’m ordering pizza we can either play in the loft or cellar”
“I think the cellar would be easier to get the equipment to” Rian replied
“Umm sorry guys but what’s a cellar?” Jack asked
“I it would be what you would call a basement” I replied
“Oh okay sorry I still haven’t got used to all the English words yet. It’s still abit strange for me like trunk and boot and the strangest one of all Pants and trousers. I mean I told someone in my dram class that I liked there pants and he called me a perv. I meant I liked his jeans I didn’t know pants meant boxers.”
“Yea you wanna be careful with that one dude” Rian stated
“Yea I gathered that one “Jack laughed nervously
“So guys 5 tonight in the cellar I got a new song to try out “
“Yeah okay sounds good “Rian and Zack said d
“We can play games afterwards”
“Yea although I and Zack would kick your ass at any game” Rian sated
“We will see about that Dawson “I replied
“We certainly will Gaskarth”
