No Regrets

Valentine's POV

Our fans are literally freaking out about the new song. Just yesterday we finished the video for our new song and it's gonna be released in some weeks. And we told Molly about the song, we posted it on our website the next day. The best thing was, our fans really had no idea that we were writing a song. We kinda managed it to keep it a secret. Oh yeah, we're good! Anyway, song is done and video is done. Now we just have to wait until they finish the editing.
Anyway. We also announced the acoustic show we're gonna play...uh...tomorrow. We just had to refresh all the songs we're gonna play. But we also had to learn that special song we're gonna play. Yup, my plan is it to play 'I'd Do Anything' by Simple Plan. Kinda for Jack. Actually not 'kinda', it's for Jack. I hope, that he'll understand it and stay so I can tell him personally, after the show, what I'm feeling for him. Yeah, I'm kinda nervous about that whole thing. Even though like everyone who knows about this, told me that Jack loves me. But I still have doubts. It's just in my personality that I have about like everything doubts. But that's sometimes good, right? Anyway (again). Alex said that he'll get Jack somehow to the place where we're gonna play our show. And he also said, that Jack doesn't know about his show yet. That's good. Because maybe then it would be harder for Alex to bring him there, because maybe he doesn't want me to see because he doesn't know why we're actually playing this show. But it seems like everything has gone good until now. I hope tomorrow is everything going right. Oh god, I think too much about that. As more as I'm thinking about it, the more things are popping in my mind which could happen. So, I'd better stop thinking about that.

the next morning...

"Okay, do we have everything?" our guitar tech asked the other techs. They looked around and checked everything, before they nodded and began to do their work. I sat there at the edge of the stage and thought. Yeah, what else should I do on such an important day? I kept texting Alex and asking him if he has everything under control and he kept texting back 'yeah, so shut up now'. I don't mind that, because I know how he means that. I was so nervous, it wasn't normal. But I bet it's like always when I'm nervous before shows: before it I'm almost freaking out but when I'm on stage, everything's gone. Just a few minutes later, it was time for me to go backstage, because they were about to let the fans in. Everyone was already backstage and was about to warm up. Even though we were just gonna sit around and play our instruments or sing. "Hey! How ya feelin'?" Jerry asked me. I sat on the couch next to him. "Ah good, but pretty nervous" I told. "Don't worry. Everything's gonna be okay" he said and smiled at me. I hope he's right. Well, Jerry is actually always right. Okay, not always but most of the time. Sometimes it's really scary... "Okay guys, 2 more minutes" Tim said around the corner. Okay, I'm gonna do this. I mean, we're playing this Simple Plan song at the end of the whole show so I have enough time to warm up on stage. Just then I got a message from Alex:

A: everything's going good. He'll be there when you're playing the song :)
V: Okay, thank you so much
A: no problem

"It's time!" Tim yelled from another room and we walked on stage. The crowd went crazy and we sat on our seats. "Hello! How are y'all feeling?" I asked when I reached the mic. The squealing probably meant 'pretty good, wbu?'. "Yeah, that's nice. I'm doing good, too. So this show was really spontaneous and we're glad that we kinda managed it that it's sold out. So, I hope you'll enjoy it" I said and after that we began to play our show. Everything was going as planned. The more songs we played, the more comfortable I felt about everything. It seemed like everyone was feeling really good and having a good time. We played our set until we came to the part where we were going to play that cover.

Jack's POV

"Alex, what are we doing here?" I asked when he pushed me in this big hall. There was a concert playing. I knew this band. It's No Regrets. "Dude, what are we doing here?" I asked again. "Just listen, buttface" he said and pointed to the stage. It seems like it's an acoustic show. They just finished a song and the crowd was cheering. "So, the show is almost over. But we have a special last song for a special person. It's not a song from us, it's a song by another artist. But before, I wanna thank all of you for coming and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. So this song is called 'I'd Do Anything' and is by Simple Plan. And we play it for a person that means a lot to me and I hope this person is here today and can hear and see it. Have fun and stay healthy" Val announced and the song began to play. "Listen, in case you didn't realize: She's playing this song because of you. This song is dedicated to you" Alex whispered in my ear before the song started.

The song finished, the crowd cheered and the band walked off stage. "I need to go backstage" I said to Alex without any emotions. "C'mon, I've got backstage passes" Alex said and handed me one. I took it and ran to the door on which was 'Backstage' written. I showed the security guy my pass and he let me backstage. I knew this place too well, so I exactly knew where to go. When I opened the door to the dressing room, everyone was high-fiving each other because of the show. When they saw me, they all looked at Val and back to me. "Oh hi. Uh, Val? Can we...uh...talk?" I asked. Without a word Val walked with me in the next room. "Did you saw our last song?" she asked and leaned against a wall. "Yes, I did. Now I know why Alex wanted to go here with me" I said and she smiled. "You know, I've wanted to play this song because it really describes my feelings about you. On that night...I think that I've reacted wrong. It should have gone different. And I'm sorry for that. I totally over reacted. But I chose this song, because I'd really do anything to have you" she explained and bit her lip. "You don't have to apologize for that. I'm sorry. I'm always the one that brings up such topics at the wrong moments" I told and walked a bit closer to her. "So, what are we gonna do now?" she asked and pushed herself away from the wall. Then some seconds of silence. I walked closer to her and put my hands on her waist to pull her closer to my body. "I love you, Valentine" I said before I leaned closer until our lips met. She put her arms around my neck and pulled my head closer. The kiss lasted long, until we pulled away and smiled at each other. "I love you, too Jack" she said and kissed my lips again. But this time it wasn't that long like the first one. "It took us really months to finally come together" she said after we pulled away for the second time. It felt so good to finally kiss her and tell her that I love her. Because I really do. Since a long time. That thing with the song was like the cutest thing a girl had ever done to me. Well, a girl never did something like this to me. They were all girls who looked hot but had nothing in their head. But Val is different. She's talented, funny, looks really hot and is really smart. Her smile is always letting me melt inside and her eyes are like they could save the whole world. "Jack, where are you staring at?" Val asked an blushed a bit. "At your beautiful face. I can't believe that I can kiss it now how much I want" I said and smiled at her. She stood on her tip toes and kissed my nose. "Your nose is so adorable" she said and I smiled. "Wanna go back to the others?" I asked. I knew how much she wanted to tell everyone about it. "Sure" she said and we pulled away. But I still had my arm around her shoulders when we walked in the dressing room. "Are you...?" Bob asked when they saw us. Val nodded with a big smile on her face. "FINALLY!" Ian shouted and hugged her. "Take care of her" Ian whispered in my ear when he hugged me, too. When he pulled away, I nodded and he left. After all the hugging, everyone left and I totally forgot about Alex. I had no idea if he was still here somewhere of if he already left. So I quickly texted him and he texted back, that he was already at home. "Should I bring you home?" I asked Val and kissed her forehead. We were still in the dressing room. "Yeah, okay" she said. We walked to my car and I drove her home. When we reached the door, she turned around to face me. "You wanna come upstairs?" she asked. "Okay" I agreed. "But we can't...do it, because Ian is here. So there's nothing more than cuddling" she cleared and kissed my nose. "Okay" I said and rolled my eyes. She smiled and I followed her in the house and then to her room. I stripped down to my boxers and she to her underwear but took an over-sized shirt from her closet and put it on. I lay in her bed and she lay next to me. I put my arm around her, pulled her closer and put the blanket over us.

Valentine's POV

"What are you thinking about?" Jack asked me. "Ah well, just that it was a really good idea to play that song" I told and smiled at him. "Yeah. But you could have also played 'Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss' by The Bloodhound Gang and we could be here though" he joked. I punched his bare chest but still laughed. "Shut up" I added. "Hey, you already heard that we're going together on tour next year?" he asked after a short silence. "Yeah, I did. That's gonna be rad" I said and smiled at him. "We're probably be a lot in the bus...so we have to make something out that we can still have sex" he told and thought about it. "We just got together and you're already talking about sex on tour?" I asked but still had to laugh a bit. "Oh wait, you're Jack...why am I even wondering about this?" I realized and he laughed. "You guys know that I can hear you talking?" Ian yelled from the room next to us. "I'm so sorry" I yelled back and buried my head in Jack's chest. "Okay, that was awkward" I whispered so Ian couldn't hear me. "For you but not for me. There are tons of people who have seen me naked and your brother just heard our conversation about sex on tour. So that's not really awkward for me anymore" he told which made me laugh. "You're so stupid" I told. I yawned and made myself comfortable on his chest. "Are you tired?" he asked and stroked my hair. "Hm, just a bit" I said and closed me eyes. "Good night Purpletine" he wished and kissed my forehead. "Good night boner-boy" I said. After a few minutes I fell asleep.
