I shakily waited for the band to arrive in the front lounge of our tour bus, terrified of what I was about to ask. Tour ended in a few more days, causing everyone to be excited to see their families, but also disappointed that another tour has flown by. For sure, I was ready to see my mother and father again, missing the comfort of my own home. Yet those thoughts had to be on hold.
"What's up man?" Rian questioned as he was the last one to take a seat. Jack was on my left, Zack on my right. Rian was sitting next to Jack, and all of them were giving me confused glances. I don't usually call meetings.
"Uh i've had this idea. More like a wanting, but I don't know if you guys will like it." I spit out, already scared out of my mind.
"Go on Lex." Jack urged me on. I took a deep breath as I continued.
"I want another lead singer." I said after a few moments. The rest of the guys stared at me like I was insane. "It was a horrible idea, forget what I said." I sighed, trying to hide my disappointment.
"N-no. It was just sudden. Why?" Zack spoke up, letting the others have it sink in.
"Our fifth album came out, and we're going to have longer set times now everyone is saying, and I think it'd be a lot easier with another person. I don't think I can sing for so long without panicking or dying." I laughed slightly, trying to tear down the awkwardness out of the air.
"I actually think that's a good idea." Rian said, giving out an opinion.
"Jack?" I whispered. Hoping he'd like the idea.
"It has to be a girl." Jack said, making me smile.
"A girl doesn't sound too bad. It would give the band a little more voice and range." Zack added.
"So we get a new member?" I questioned, smiling widely.
"I hope she has big boobs." Jack announced, making the others laughing and nodding. I jumped up, running off the tour bus.
"MATT MATT MATT!" I screamed, the others running after me. We were going to have a new member. For some strange reason, I was super excited, even if that means a lot of changes. After a couple meetings later, everyone agreed, even the record label.
All Time Low is getting a new member.
