"Alex it's your turn to draw some blood" Flyzik told me as he sat down in front of me and handed me a stretchy band to wrap around his arm.

"You're letting me do it to you?" I asked while wrapping the band tight around his upper arm pulling it with a little snap before pulling on some purple rubber gloves.

"Duh! Now get to it. Just don't paralyze me or something." I laughed and cleaned the crook of his arm with an alcohol wipe and un-capped a small butterfly needle.

"Wouldn't dream of it" I said as I pushed in the needle into a visible vein and watched the blood draw out through a small tube into the vile.

"Great job Gaskarth." Flyzik said as I slowly pulled out the needle and put the band-aid over it and had him hold his arm close.

"I'm a natural I must say." I laughed and pulled off my gloves and threw them in the trash to see what Captain had in store for the for the rest of the day.

"Okay everybody today we will be repelling off the 3 story school building down the street okay? This'll help out more with being a fire fighter cause we've never really discussed this. Flyzik'll go first, then Dawson, Merrick, then Gaskarth."

My heart sunk knowing how terrified I am of heights and I guess Rian noticed cause he walked over to me and pulled me into a hug whispering "You'll be fine" in my ear and we all walked down to the old school building.

After Captain all explained to us how this'll work and everybody went it was now my turn to go. I wanted Rian to be my guide so we both got hooked up to our harnesses and Rian attached a rope through the belt loop and attached it to his harness.

"Ok Lex. I got you. Just take your time." Rian said calmly as I slowly backed up onto the edge of the building feeling my heart race.

"Whenever you're ready, just take one foot off of the building onto the wall then do the same with the other foot, but lean back." I nodded but Zack stopped.

"Lex smile and do a thumbs up. I'm taking a picture to send it to Jack for you."

I laughed and did what he asked and slowly started to lower myself onto the wall.

"Good good." Rian said slowly loosening slack on the rope.

"How're you feeling?" He asked as I continued to take a few more steps down not really opening my eyes.

"F-Fine." I stuttered hearing everybody that was at the bottom sending me positive words and encoragement.

"Jack said he's proud of you!" Zack shouted and I smiled giving me a boost of confidence.

"Okay Lex. Push yourself off and try and bounce on the wall."

"O-oka-. Rian! Somethings wrong." I shouted as I felt my harness loosening around me.

"Shit was going on?" Rian shouted looking down at me.

"My harness! It's loosen-" I got cut off by a loud shout from Rian as my harness completely unraveled around me sending me falling to the ground, landing on my back with a loud thud.

"Gaskarth!" Flyzik shouted sliding next to me, propping and straightening my head up.

"Lex-x please look at me." He whispered and my eyes fluttered open looking right at him before they fell back closed.

"Alex!!" Was all I heard from my best friend Rian before I completely blacked out from everything around me.

This is my brother repelling! He luckily didn't fall though.
