"Alex" I head Jack semi shout from the bedroom when I was in the kitchen cooking dinner.
"Yeah, Jack?" walking into our bedroom seeing his face buried into his palms.
I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm about 95 percent done with my phone." Jack sighed and leaned his head against my shoulder.
"Why? Do you want a new phone?"
Jack shook his head and wiped a tear from his face. "My plastic sergeon just called saying I need to come in for another skin graph."
My heart dropped a little. "What do you think about that?" I said laying down pulling him into my chest.
"I don't know. He says it'll help a little bit more with the scarring but guess where I'll get more scars? Wherever they fucking take off chunks of my skin. Which'll be my thighs most likely and guess who'll see those the most? You. And guess who won't want to have sex with me with even more scars? Yo-"
"Jack shut the fuck up. This won't change what I think about you. I still think you're beautiful. No matter how many more scars you'll have I'll still love you. It just gives me some more stuff to kiss." I said smiling and kissed his scarred cheek.
"Now c'mon. Dinners ready. I made hot wings."
Jack smiled and ran to the kitchen with me and we dug in.

"So you never told me your choice on the skin graphs." I told Jack, tracing my fingers along his bare chest.
"I think i'm going to do it" Jack sighed. "Not like it'll hurt."
"Well it may hurt Jack. The process."
Jack scoffed. "Can't be any worse than what i've already gone through."
"Jack please." I said calmly.
"What? It's true." he said crossing his arms.
"Don't do this right now. It's late and we need to sleep." I said rolling onto my side and pulling him into my bare chest.
"Whatever" He groaned and pulled up the covers over our shoulders.
"You're still beautiful" I whispered and kissed his shoulder as he fell asleep.

"Jack! I'll be waiting in the truck!" I shouted grabbing my keys to walk out to the truck.
Today was Jacks doctors appointment so they could arrange his surgery so I thought i'd take him and show support. Moments later Jack was jogging out to the truck, tugging on a teal beanie. He hopped into the car with a loud sigh and buckled his seat belt.
"Ready?"
"Ready."
And with that we were off to the doctors office.

"Mr. Barakat, looks like these are healing nicely from the first time I saw you!" the doctor said lifting up Jacks chin and examining the scars before telling Jack to strip down to his boxers.
Jack nervously looked at me and I gave his hand a reasurring squeeze letting him know it's okay that the doctor wasn't going to judge him ether. When Jack was only in his boxers the doctor began taking pictures of each scarred patches and marking areas with a purple marker probably marking where they were going to make the graphs. I held onto Jacks hand the whole time and occasionally squeezing letting him know I was there.
"Okay Mr. Barakat, looks like we're done here. I'll scedual your operation for sometime next week, okay? Do you have any questions?" The doctor asked while typing stuff onto his computer.
"Uh.. Is it, is it going to hurt?" Jack said nervously twiddling his thumbs.
"The process? Nah. But the aftermath may for a while. But you'll be on pain medicine so it'll help. I'm sure Alex here will take good care of you."
I smiled and nodded, pulling Jack into my side.
"Well let's get you outta here and i'll see you next week!" Doctor said shaking both of our hands before exiting the room.
"Want coffee?" I asked as we walked to the truck. Jack nodded and we drove the short distance to the local coffee shop.

it'll continue in the next chapter. i just wanted to get this up. i got caught up in the kellin drama and didn't work on this for a bit even though some of it was typed up. but be prepared for a bit of drama next chapter!
