Chapter 24

It was quite weird going to school without Megan. She had to stay out of school for a few weeks to heal from giving birth, and she had to stay with Amy 24/7 to take care of her for the first month. Kayla, Jack, Zack, Rian and I came over every day to bring Megan her work that she needed to make up so that she could be caught up when she came back. She was going to be returning to school after Christmas break. Things were great. Megan and I's relationship got about 2,000x stronger ever since Amy was born, and my friendship with Kayla, Jack, Zack and Rian was stronger as it was for Megan, and it had only been a few days. As of right now, life was perfect. One day, I was at school and impatient to go home so I could go pick up Megan and Amy. I tried and would hang with them every day possible. It was Wednesday, so the school week was already halfway over. Before I knew it, school was over and I was heading home. My plan was to get the guys and Kayla settled at home and then go get Megan and Amy and come back to my house. When I walk into my house, I see Megan talking to my mom with Amy in her car seat.

"Hey baby." I say walking up to her and kissing her. "Didn't expect to see you here. I was just going to text you and see if we could come by." Instead, we just hung out while we sat there and stared at Amy in awe. I kept kissing her on the forehead a ton, there was no one I loved more than Amy and Megan together. Amy started to cry and she was so hungry so Megan made her a bottle and sat there while she talked us feeding it to her. Amy was so small, being only 4 days old that she had really small bottles, but obviously they had to be held and Megan was really tired. Like we mentioned, sleep deprivation. Megan looked like she was about to fall asleep any second.

"Want help?" Zack asks seeing Megan struggle to feed Amy and stay awake. This shocked Megan and I completely. Zack was now fully out of his shell around Megan and Kayla. Plus I was just shocked, because I would've never pictured Zack being comfortable enough with a baby to want to help with one. Megan then smiled and let Zack feed her. She took Amy out of the car seat so it'd be easier for him and just sitting there watching him made us smile. He looked experienced as he sat there and watched her while she ate. The rest of the school year flew by and we graduated. Amy was 7 months old when we graduated. It was absolutely insane how fast she was growing. Then, it was July, and Megan and I were having our wedding. With the exception of Amy being born, that was the best day of my life. Our wedding day and Amy's birth would always be my 2 favorite days for the rest of my life. We got married on July 23, 2006. Amy was 8 months old. I couldn't believe how time flew, she was getting so big. We missed our little newborn Amy, but we still loved her anyway. Megan, Amy and I were now the perfect family we always wanted to be. I mean, we already were, but now we were officially adults, so it's much better. We still saw Jack, Kayla, Zack and Rian constantly, only now there was no in school in between. So, we saw them daily from the minute we woke up till the minute we went to bed. Megan and I were living together. The one thing I never thought that I would have was my every day life. Our band, All Time Low, was now getting to where we were touring and were big, and Kayla and Megan would always have girl time with Amy. It was kind of weird seeing the occasional All Time Low fan in town here and there, but all of us were more than willing to take pictures with fans if they asked. Jack and Kayla were still together, and honestly they were perfect. Things were perfect for now. Life was absolutely perfect. As for the future, we'll have to see what it holds for us.
