Oh no, she was doing so good! She'll get back up do it again I'm sure. Sam is one tough cookie, if that were me I would not have even thought to go back.
She's singing again! That's amazing, I cant wait for another update. And I loved her diva exit as well.

yeah our birthdays are a day apart and out anniversary is the day before his so they're all in a row in the month of May. Which means it cant forget it!

Great job with the update! Oooh, so it went well at first, but then it went downhill. :/ But that's awesome she made it that far before she had the breakdown.
Two things I spotted:
I pushed the door opened, she didn’t look up from the desk until it closed behind me.
This had me thinking James was a girl at first, lol, which I mean, it could be a thing, Blake Lively named her one daughter Jaymes I think? But since it was a guy it shouldn't be 'she' here, lol.
During the flashback:
I looked up and it was the man who let me use his lighter.
I believe this happened because you took it from the first time you initially wrote what happened? But since you changed some details this time, this line didn't really make sense to be here, since you didn't mention her break this time. Or maybe it should be more descriptive by saying something like, "I looked up and it was the man who let me use his lighter outside during my break." or something along that line, just a little more to it because without that, it just appeared random. Had I not read the other chapter, I would've been thinking 'What man that used her lighter? When?' lol. You know?
Other than that, though, I didn't spot anything else. It was sweet how Alex ended up being there for her, and making her feel safe. <3 And aww, she can sing! :D That's pretty awesome. I wonder if she'll work up the courage to sing on tour.
But uh-oh, she's mad at Alex now. Sigh. Did he overstep? Hmm... trying to think if I would be frustrated too. Actually, I probably would; having experienced therapy, and kind of hating it, I'd be pissed if like, my mom or someone called to make me go back. Like, no thank you. So I can understand her anger.
Excited to see more! :) Loved her cool exit, haha.
Also, that's neat how you and your bf's birthdays fall within a day of each other. :D That's probably convenient, haha. Plus you can celebrate together. :)
Oh, and I should probably note how the one character has my name. :D I'm not sure if that was intentional or not but I thought it was funny. XD

Apparently my editing skills go out the window when I'm writing my fics lol.

LMAO Jack. XD lol, it was so awkward but at the same time, he deserved that response since he wasn't leaving LMAO.
Got a little tense there with Chloe, but I'm glad they were able to talk things out without arguing much. <3 And it's cool that Sam trusted her enough to show her the scars, it just shows her trust building there.
Hmm... I wonder how Sam will handle being there again, or if she'll be able to go inside or not. I'm surprised she didn't tell Alex about it... you'd think she'd want support with going back. :/ I just hope it doesn't affect her too badly, I wonder what the others will think of her going back.
Haha, I feel like me and @MyBarakat are the stans of this story. XD :P

Love when Alex smiles at himself, it's just the cutest thing, isn't it? XD
Great job with the update, though, even though it was on the shorter side. You still gave us something and for that, you're awesome! :)

Omg Jack! Who busts into a bedroom without knocking! I'm excited for the next update to see how things go, she went back to the bar right? I love that her mom is so so happy and moving back home. This was a good update and girl take as long as you need to update, me and @Nanook will see them eventually and read them with excitement!

and your boyfriend is a ginger! How adorable, you guys could eventually have little ginger babies. Mine are little brunettes

Aw, so she finally talked to her mom! That was sweet with the way she planned it. :') Her mom was so surprised.
And ooohhh... her and Alex are getting closer... ;) lol, I always feel so awkward trying to leave feedback on that. XD
But anyway, her and Elvis reuniting was really cute too. :D Haha. I love how you compared him to a cat without purring. :)
One part I wanted to point out where Sam seems to be having a conversation with herself again. XD
“So we have the house to ourselves tonight.” I said
“Oh do we?” I asked
“Yeah, you know the twins are taking Rian and Zack back to their place and Chloe is one hundred percent taking Jack back to hers. The moms are going out so it’ll just be us.” I said
I was so confused. XD But I take it Alex asked the question, lol, and it should've been "he said." XD
But yeah, Alex was so sweet at the end there, making sure she was sure and making sure she was comfortable. Loveeee them. :)
You said this wasn't very long, but I thought it seemed just as long if not longer than your other updates, so you're good. :)

Yeah I havent updated in a while but I am working on it, its gonna be a little shorter becuase it's a little emotional, but I'm excited to post it when it's done. And, of course I have faith in you, everyone on here has a life outside of here where things come up and keep us away. I have a book that I'm writing and trying to get published, fanfics give me a get away from that, I love writing them. (Which is my only secret in life that no one knows about lol)

I did mean to put "I said" sometimes my fingers are typing to fast. I also tend to be watching Netflix with my boyfriend while I write so I'm not looking at the screen, sometimes I'll be typing and I'll look down and I had typed whatever had been said around me, my boyfriend was playing dark souls the other day and I typed his rant about dying instead of the conversation in the story.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough if you ever need anyone to talk to about it my inbox is open or texting pen pals lol. Ok be here for you, my phone is always attached to me.

OMG it's been a while.
I haven't really gotten on here lately. I have a few different updates to catch up with, but I've just been busy with life and motivation and just, a lot personally has been going on.
But then I got a notification that someone commented to me, and I was like, "what?" because it had been a while, so I wasn't sure who was talking to me, lol. But then I got on here and saw both of you guys' comments, wondering where I was... @MyBarakat, I'm not sure if I've ever directly interacted with you, but it means a lot that you wondered about me. I didn't think anyone really noticed my comments other than the writers of stories, so I was surprised to say the least. I'm definitely still here. Or maybe you're an author I interacted with before, just on a new account? lol, either way, hi there! Your comment really meant a lot, and I appreciate the concern. I'm okay.
And @Mrs.Gaskarth, you're awesome for having faith that I'd come back. <3 Because yep, here I am. XD But I'm really glad that you find my comments helpful. Again, sometimes I lose motivation, so I'm glad my words help you out and I'm not just leaving words in the void.
But yeah, after getting the notification, I did my best to finally find some time to check out the new chapter, and that I did. :) Great job with the latest update! It's been nearly a month since you posted it, I'm sorry again for taking so long. Life has just been... yeah. :/
Some random parts to point out that I liked:
I felt his arms wrap around me and lift me into his arms, I clung to him like a sloth as he walked me off of the bus.
Haha, clung to him like a sloth. <3 I thought that was cute. :D
He was bobbing his head to the beat of one of my favorite songs, before I even knew it my hands were signing to it.
I thought this line was interesting... so instead of singing along, she just started signing along? I just found it kind of cool how it's like, that much of a mechanism for her. That she would start signing as opposed to like, nodding along like Alex or just lip-syncing maybe. It just shows how in tune she is with ASL.
I noticed you pointed out how Raelyne knows sign language, haha, thanks for mentioning that. :D That makes sense now, and lol, I can totally relate to Teagan not knowing French. I minored in that in college and only remember, maybe the basics now, lol. It's so sad. :/ Language is something you just need to keep practicing or you just forget it. Sigh. So it's amazing that Raelyne kept ASL; I guess she just practiced it more?
A tiny error I spotted:
“Do you know what you’re going to do?” He asked
“Not yet, I’m going to brainstorm with Jack.” He said
He nodded.
lol, it just seems like Brendon's talking to himself here. XD NBD. But yeah, just an "I said" with that second line there, I think you meant. XD
Now, for what happened overall in the chapter: aww, that was an awesome surprise from Alex. :D How cool she got to meet Brendon; perks of being close to a band, haha.
And that moment at the end there where she told him she loved him. <3 Man, my brain is scrambled or it just must have been a long time, because I didn't remember them not saying they loved each other before? XD But I don't think they did due to MyBarakat's comment, lol, I must be confusing things. Dang, it's been a while. But either way, it was still cute, and then sweet with the way Sam told him the whole truth.
Really loved the update, and hopefully my next comment won't take that long again. I appreciate you being patient and having faith in me. <3 Just kind of been a rough month for me. I'm really happy that you seem to be doing good personally, though, hopefully it's still as good as you said in your author's note. <3

"Oh my god" *just like janice from friends* I was not expecting that to be the surprise, that's a great surprise. I think I would have died right there at his feet, or cried. Probably both! Big step for Sam too, talking to him and telling him all of that. Also her telling Alex that she loved him!

Also I'm so happy for you and your boyfriend, I hope hes treating you right.
