Thank you again for the feedback! and for pointing out those typos to me. By the time I get to proofreading the chapter I've already read through it so many times I miss a lot lol. I'm really glad to see that you're getting so into the story!
Ughhh... okay, this is the second story I read an update for tonight that has frustrated me. XD
First of all, yay, an update! :D I'm glad you posted, was hoping the story would be continued soon.
Second of all, I can't. XD If that wasn't obvious with my first sentence. XD
Going first to the ending of this update, I honestly have little sympathy for Jack and am fully on Shay's side with this. The day she left, he literally picked up on nothing. He told her all about how Lisa was visiting, and this was following the whole Alex breaking-up with her... like he could've freaking TOLD her that it wasn't anything bad. Okay. That's the issue I have with giving him any sympathy. Because he probably could've made the situation better when she called, and he didn't. And this was also following hers and Lisa's fight (which he did in fact witness), so, I feel like Jack could've clarified with her, you know? And he just did little on that part, which was weird.
Just expressing my thoughts on that drama. XD I realize you have an overall plan for this, but I just really need to vent my frustration right now. XD
Okay, and then Alex... oh boy. Again. Like HOW DOES HE NOT REALIZE WHAT HE DID WRONG. He did not talk to her that day! Like WTF! XD I'm just, totally team Shay on all counts. Even when you put in the explanations, I'll probably still be on her side. Because in all honesty, you can't blame her for running, when she gave him a few chances that day, and nothing was promising! Like seriously.
Okay, I am calm. XD But still frustrated. That end... whyyy.... I need more. XD
I'm also frustrated that her and Alex's confrontation was interrupted! I need more answers! XD
Two things to note:
At the beginning, when you first mentioned Zack here,
I was taken completely aback when Matt pushed through Alex, Jack, Rian, and Zach and hugged me.
You spelled his name with an h, when technically he uses the k. Although, with the rest of the chapter when he was mentioned, you did use k, so it confused me a bit why it was different here. I mention it though because, I feel like I saw this happen in another chapter? lol. Just wanting to clarify.
Oh, and with that last quote from Jack at the very end of this new chapter, there wasn't end quotation marks. XD It bothered me a bit, but it kind of threw it off because I thought it was just going to continue into another paragraph, but then I hit the notes and was like, "Oh." XD
But just two small things, no big deal. :)
Great job with the update, though, girl! Trust me, my frustration is a good thing... I'm still really into this story/the plot line. I just cannot with all this drama and them both blaming her so I had to ramble a bit about that to stay sane. XD
I hope you update again soon! :) Really want to read more. <3
Poor Jack. I hope he will stop and listen to her, I've got a feeling that nothing she thinks happened did. So maybe they can work past everything and start to rebuild friendships and relationships.

And yay, glad to hear there may be more soon! :D I'm glad my comment brightened your day; wanted to leave my feedback because I know how crucial it can be for authors, whether it be with motivating them to continue or just letting them know they have another reader. :) So it's no problem really, also wanted to leave one to let you know I really would love to see how this continues. :)

Oh my god I don't know what to say! Thank you so much for your feedback and your nice words. I really wasn't feeling that great about this most recent chapter so I really appreciate your feedback.
You definitely will get an explanation from Alex, but it's not gonna be for a while yet. I like to keep you guys waiting ;)
And I promise it will not take me six months to write the next update haha. A couple weeks at the absolute most maybe, but hopefully more like a week.

HOLY CRAP. This story...
... that's all I can really say. This story.
XD JK. But OMG.
It has seriously taken me on a whole rollercoaster of emotions, and there's technically only five chapters to it so far. WHAT. Or maybe I guess three if you count the beginning italics all as a prologue. XD A very long prologue by the way, probably the longest I've ever read, but I loved it!
Wow, just... I'm usually hesitant to start stories with less than 10 chapters, because it's hard to predict if they'll ever be updated again and there's usually not much to go on to give feedback wise, but wow... this story has a lot. Kudos to the longer chapters.
Ugghhhh, I am in such suspense. How did it all just go wrong like that?! Why would Alex do that to her? I have a feeling there's more to the story, but even if he is able to justify some of it, still, a lot of that stuff he was in the wrong for. Like why was he spending time with Lisa? Why did he just leave Shay at the park, even when he told her he was going to meet her?! So much of this looks bad. I have hope that he didn't play her, but still... like the poor girl, I do not blame her for thinking the way she did. Usually I'm frustrated when a character doesn't hear someone out, but c'mon, she gave him SO MANY CHANCES. And I just can't right now.
And then this last chapter, ending on a cliffhanger. THE TORTURE. The torture. I really want to know what's going to happen next. I really want some explanations dang it. But I have a feeling that probably won't happen as soon as we would all like. :(
Anyway, I'm kind of rambling now, but rest-assured, take it as a good thing. You're an amazing writer. Again, I usually wait until a story has more to leave this kind of feedback, but wow, you have definitely earned it for just this much of the story. I'm also hoping that my feedback will urge you to continue soon, lol, because I'm seriously wanting to know what happens next! lol.
Ugh, again, I just can't. XD I feel so basic right now trying to describe my emotions, lol.
But yeah, I seriously love this. I will be here to read and give feedback as you continue, which I hope you do. Please don't wait another six months to update, OMG. Please. XD But you've been through a lot, and I admire you for continuing this story after all that, with the accident, and then what sounds like a lot of hectic-ness from school. :/
This is so heart-wrenching and emotional and just... so much again for just only five official updates. I really can't wait to see what is next in store for it.
Crossing my fingers that Alex didn't actually play her, because just like when he kept telling her he loved her... it was so sincere and my heart just probably won't be able to take it if he didn't mean it. :'(
Okay, I think I'm done now. One last random thing: Graham being surprised that they've heard of them. PSSSHHH. PSSSHHHHHHHHH. XD Like gurlllll XD If only he knew, I don't even need to hear ATL's side of it to know that they have... :P
Hope you have enjoyed my long comment. Probably one of the longest I've left tbh, but this story deserves it. <3

Good lord! 18 hours is a wonky idea there Skippy. I did 16 and thought I was going to keel over. Oh well. This too shall pass. Glad to see you are planning to write again. Enjoy your break.
